Great place! We had rooms in a building that hade not yet been renovated. So everything was a bit off. No presure in the shower. No soap. But when we arrived, the fridge was filled with sandwiches and water. That was nice!
The food was good but sometimes bland. Overall it was nice. Would go there again, but book room in the renovated parts.
A wonderful place for a family Holiday. Wonderful staff in the restaurant, it was always a pleasure to meet them at the door.
We enjoyed the food very much, especially the Greek restaurant Meze Meze. The kids ate everything without complaining. Throughout the day we could eat in the Snack Bar - we recommend the one next to the water park. The pesto pasta was the most delicious one I have ever eaten!
The pools were clean, the slides were lots of fun. The only thing we disliked was the amount of plastic cups used. During windy weather they all landed in the pools. This policy should be definetely changed.
Our rooms were clean, however sometimes the cleaning lady was a bit lazy.
The kids loved the animation team.
Lovely location. Very well maintained pool area. Can't comment on the water park as we didn't participate. All you can eat buffet is fresh and tasty, you can choose from local food or pizza and chips. Close to the beach, lots of shops.
Rooms are no frills but definitely do the job.
Disappointing Stay – Would Not Return
We were very disappointed with our stay. The biggest issue was the overall lack of hygiene and housekeeping. Many areas of the hotel appeared dirty, with little evidence of thorough cleaning. The plastic tables around the pool were never cleaned during our stay and were often sticky and unpleasant to use.
The sunbeds and umbrellas were also in poor condition. Many of the sunbeds were broken, and several umbrellas were ripped or badly worn and clearly need replacing.
Our room was very basic and housekeeping was well below what you would expect. The beds were made and towels changed, but that was about it. The room was never cleaned to a proper standard, and the towels themselves were old, worn and in need of replacement. The one positive was that the air conditioning worked extremely well.
The restaurant was another major disappointment. It was small, the food choice was very limited, and there was only one grill station serving what were mostly cheap cuts of pork or chicken. The food was consistently bland and, without doubt, some of the worst I've experienced at an all-inclusive hotel. We ended up eating out as much as possible, and within a five-minute walk there were restaurants serving food that was vastly better. I was also surprised that proper chicken or pork gyros were never served in the main restaurant. The snack bar by the water park mainly offered pork gyros, but the meat was very fatty and nothing like authentic gyros.
The drinks were acceptable, although those from most of the self-service pumps were usually warm. The quieter pool bar next to the water park was by far the best, as the drinks there were always ice cold.
Unfortunately, two nights before we were due to leave, I developed severe gastrointestinal symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I was extremely unwell throughout the night and spent our final full day confined to bed, unable to enjoy the holiday.
I genuinely struggle to understand some of the excellent reviews this hotel receives. Everyone's experience is different, but based on ours, this hotel fell well below expectations in almost every area. I certainly wouldn't return or recommend it.
I would like to take the time to give some feedback whilst staying with Sun Palace.
The hotel is amazing the water slides are so much fun the food is outstanding tasty.
I would personally like to thank the animation entertainment team these guys put on a brilliant show.
I would also like to thank Alessandro he went above and beyond for my family he was so much help he made my kids so happy and entertained whilst I was there. Alessandro should be recognised for his outstanding service as an entertainer he is an asset to the team.
I had so much fun staying at sun palace this is my second time staying there and I would book again.
The rooms are clean and tided every day. The reception staff are friendly helpful and the service you receive is brilliant.
Thanks again if anyone is looking to stay hear you will have such an amazing time it well worth every penny.
Thanks so much
Kind regards
Terry

The Acropolis of Rhodes (Greek: Ακρόπολη της Ρόδου) is the acropolis, or upper town, of ancient Rhodes dating from the 5th century BC and located 3 kilometers SW from the centre of the modern city. Situated on Monte Smith overlooking the west coast of the island, the archaeological site includes some of the most important monuments in the ancient city, such as the Temple of Athena Polias and Zeus
The fortifications of the town of Rhodes are shaped like a defensive crescent around the medieval town and consist mostly of a fortification composed of a huge wall made of an embankment encased in stone, equipped with scarp, bastions, moat, counterscarp and glacis. The portion of fortifications facing the harbour is instead composed of a crenellated wall. On the moles, towers and defensive forts
