Trendy Verbena Beach – All Inclusive

Spent 12 days at the hotel in July because we got rebooked from a different place that didn't open on time. From the almost 20 all inclusive trips around the world, 4 of them in Turkey, have to say the service level and staff absolutely the best I have experienced. When going for dinner didn't have to chase staff to ask for wine, they were always smiling, welcoming and offering drinks in resturants, bars etc. I have experienced before that even when tipping it was difficult to catch anyone's attention, but not here. Main resturant: Huge variety of food every day, beautiful presentation and very tasteful. The head chef was always around making sure everything was perfect. And the selection of meats, vegetables ,salads, starters was always great.Usuaully I don't eat deserts in all Inclusive, but here they were really amazing. During the Saturday pool party they prepared a huge table of beautifully cut fruits and cakes, it was really nice. Restaurant at the beach and the pool bar. Basic selection of meat, kebab, burger, salad, pizza etc. but much better than some other hotels offering hotdogs and french fries. Here also staff very friendly offering drinks at the table, smiling. And a great thing was a huge fridge with small bottles of water you could take to the beach. Lobby bar and Blue bar. Lobby a bit boring but air conditioned. Blue bar outside amazing, open until 11:30 pm. offering great cocktails on imported alcohol. Professional bartender mixing great cocktails , smiling. This was the favorite spot in the evening. Bar in the lower floor below lobby was the only one open after midnight. It offered couch area and tv . But to be honest, did not feel very cosy as it was the basement, and very poor air-conditioning so it felt stuffy Beach and pool. Beach very nice and sandy, but after 7am a lot of sunbeds in first line to the sea already occupied. But you could always find free beds. As the hotel is close to Side, beach area is a bit smaller as all surrounding hotels have their beaches. So it feels a bit crowded, but that is the specific of the area, not hotel. Many other hotels in the area do not have direct beach access like this one. There are 3 different pools, but hotel is a bit compact size so we did not spend much time there as it was a bit crowded. Rooms: the bedrooms for 2 were quite spacious and modern fitted. We stayed 3 adults in a two bedroom, which was only slightly bigger than the one bedroom room, and felt too small for 3 adults . This was called a family room, but do not recommend for 3 adults as one of the rooms as basically a hallway with a bed. Evening entertainment. We did go outside most of days so didn't experience much, there are the usual shows , but otherwise a pretty quiet vibe compared to some other places -all depends what you like. Every week there is a beach party in the evening. This was actually very well organized, bar in the sand, light shows etc. we went twice, one was great with live music and mixed hits. The other I think the DJ did not adjust music to crowd with hard remixes changing every 30 seconds so people left quickly. Aircondition is the only bad thing I can say about the place. The hallways in the hotel were hot during the day, resturant had some air-conditioning, and so did the lobby. But many areas with poor air-conditioning. In the room we were told that we could not adjust the temperature or the fan speed although there was a control unit for that. You had to tell the staff what temperature you wanted and they would adjust this centrally. We asked twice to change, it was still the same cold air, so basically you could only turn AC on or off. When on it was really cold, without it was too hot. So finally to get the right temperature at night, we had AC on and balcony window open , only then was the temperature adequate. Hotel is located close to a lot of malls and shopping opportunities, at the beach side, it is a bit compact size so don't expect huge gardens etc. but the staff, quality of food and drinks made it all a super great trip.

Top hotel, great location, crystal clear sea. Everything nearby. Higly recommend. Big thanks to Ahmet from the reception for his wonderful care during our stay:)

We had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The cleanliness and customer service is at the highest possible level. The staff is very caring and smiling - waiters, bartenders or room cleaners. As soon as we finished eating, our plates disappeared from our sight, they were that fast, you really won't miss anything. Quite quickly, at our request, they changed our room, which had a better location and was more acceptable for 3 people. You can communicate in English at the hotel. The kitchen was fantastic. a few reservations, what could be improved; 📍when we arrived at 1 am, no one showed us to our room, although a bellboy came with suitcases, but much later and so we were tiredly wandering around the hotel (since it has several blocks) 📍at the "swimming" - "relaxation" pool, some visitors do not follow the instructions, splash balls in the water, throw themselves into the water and make it unpleasant for swimmers to swim peacefully. The lifeguard warns them and cancels these water activities, but it happens every day and it is annoying for swimmers, because it is the only pool where they can swim happily without inflatables, screaming and splashing. It would be advisable to visibly post the rules regarding this pool.

It was a great experience and I recommend it. The food quality and varieties were good for me. The room was clean, no mold. The stuff is always smiling to you. The staff took food samples to verify their quality. There was a challenge to change the room because it is crucial to sleep in a quiet room without air conditioning and with open windows, but the stuff gave us a choice to select a room. The beach is near the hotel. There are too many flies sometimes, and it is a risk to people's safety.

Amazing room; loved the complimentary dressing gown & slippers. Also the free mini bar in the room. Bathroom really nice nice too, large comfy bed & bedding made all the difference! Obviously it's not important to some, but I would have liked English channels on the TV. The food was of really good quality, I especially liked the beach bar for lunch. The main restaurant in the evening was good too, I particularly liked the fresh meat on offer; this was probably my saviour as some of the pre-cooked options were a little strange, possibly catered more to the German & Russian clients (no offence intended). Plenty of choice for desserts if that's your thing. We only went to one of the fine dining restaurants whilst we were there, the Italian. Aside from the soup (minestrone that definitely wasn't minestrone), the courses on offer were really nice. We just found the main guy to be quite stern & we felt rushed. Maybe hexeas just having a bad day? We didn't go to any of the shows in the evening so can't comment on that, but they were mostly based outside in the amphitheatre & it was a bit chilly in the evening & I personally am not a fan of the tiered wooden seating. There was a piano player most evenings downstairs by the restaurants. Only for about an hour or so, which I enjoyed, but it wasn't to everyone's taste. Depending on what you want out of a holiday, the evenings were quite somber & it was definitely a bit posher than we were used to 😄 The main downside for me was the swimming pool was icy cold & not many people went in it. I believe towards the end of our holiday, the hotel did heat one of the pools but that area was then too busy in terms of getting a sunbed & lots of children, which some people might find too much. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but wouldn't come back unless it was a good price & an additional break to our main holiday. It didn't bother us too much, but English were definitely in the minority & not many staff spoke English either.
