A wonderful, relaxing and friendly hotel. Celia and the rest of the team on reception were brilliant. The facilities, swimming pool, always plenty of sunbeds and the dining room was well staffed and always a good selection of food available. The little touches, like Cava on arrival, water always available in the reception area made our stay memorable. This is our second visit and we will definitely be back.
I stayed 1 night here and this hotel has everything for when you are just passing through. The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries. Dinner and breakfast buffet were good. Staff was friendly. The hotel has a beautiful refreshing pool and plenty of chairs (at least off season). There is a free parking lot, but it was full. I opted out of their paying parking garage and parked in the street, which was free. The neighbourhood was safe enough for that.
You must keep in mind that this hotel is secluded and not within short walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. There is no good beach. So this place is only OK if you just want to lounge by the pool, eat/drink and are willing to take the car for other activities.
If I must mention 2 things that really bothered me:
1) The shower temperature was inconsistent: too cold, too hot or just right, all in a few minutes. I only needed 1 shower, but this would be annoying if you stay longer.
2) The pool closes at 18.00, which is very early compared to other hotels.
Other than that, happy with my stay. Value for money.
Excellent hotel with super clean modern facilities appearing recently refurbished. Outdoor facilities are very nice and lounge and bar areas very comfortable. Parking is plentiful and free. Restaurant is Iarge and a tad lacking in atmosphere but did a very good breakfast.
Nice gym and spa at decent added cost
Will definitely revisit when visiting the area
Brilliant hotel . My sister and I stayed all inclusive. Food was really good. Plenty of choices and different every time. The staff were all really lovely especially the pool bar group. They worked really hard. Pool and garden area was emaculate. The beach and nearby towns are a bit of a walk if you have mobility issues, but there is a bus service right out side of hotel which is frequent. I'd recommend staying here
There was a sewage smell in the room.
The mattresses are extremely hard. After 3 nights, we asked to change rooms or check out early with a refund, but this was not accommodated. Instead, we were given mattress toppers. We were also told that we should have mentioned the issue earlier. However, at first you think you just need to get used to a different bed than at home.
Housekeeping did not provide new hand soap even once. Upon arrival, there were three very small soaps, one of which was thrown away (still in its packaging) by housekeeping, leaving only one for two people. The floors were not cleaned. The balcony door did not close properly, which caused more street noise. Fortunately, this was fixed on day 3.
The breakfast offers a lot of choice, but the quality is lacking. The hash browns looked burnt, the pineapple was brown, and the scrambled eggs looked green. The plates also did not appear very clean. Your plate and cutlery are taken away right in front of you without asking if you are finished.
Free parking is a plus, and the pool looks nice.
Since I travel frequently for work and stay in 4- and 5-star hotels every month, I have plenty of comparison. All in all, I can say that this hotel definitely does not deserve a 4-star rating.
