Aqua Nevis Club Hotel

We had an amazing time in Aqua Nevis! The animators from Sunny Beach animation were incredible, always interacting with people, making cool games during the day and awesome shows during the night! Ellie, Maria, Chris, Mil and Florian for sure made our holiday special! The food was delicious and there were options for all ages. The rooms were clean and spacious and the aquapark kept my kids occupied. The bartender are really friendly, special shoutout to Nasko at the pool bar and Ivan at the sports bar. They were really friendly. The other staff was also nice and kind. I think we’d definitely return

We have just returned from a week’s stay at Aqua Nevis as a family, booked through TUI. Whilst we’ve made some wonderful family memories, unfortunately the hotel itself didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially considering the price we paid. There are definitely positives. Maria from the animation team was absolutely fantastic with our daughter and genuinely made her holiday. The gentleman working at the pool bar (Friday to Monday) was always friendly and welcoming, and the lifeguards deserve recognition for taking safety seriously and handling difficult situations professionally. The à la carte restaurant was also excellent and by far the best meal of our stay. Unfortunately, there were too many negatives for us to return. The buffet food was repetitive and of poor quality, there were recurring cleanliness issues around the pool and communal toilets, a persistent smell of cannabis on our hotel floor, and very little staff presence during the evening entertainment despite inappropriate behaviour from some guests. The biggest disappointment was the water park. Although it’s promoted as part of the hotel, there is no all-inclusive drinks service inside it, meaning guests either have to pay or walk all the way back to the hotel pool bar every time they want a drink. This really reduced the amount of time we spent there and wasn’t something that was made clear before we booked. Overall, we still enjoyed our family holiday because we made the most of it, but for the money we paid there are better all-inclusive family hotels available. I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively because there are some brilliant staff members here who deserve recognition.

We spent 9 nights at Aqua Nevis and, overall, had a decent stay, but unfortunately the food was a major let-down and did affect how much we enjoyed the holiday. On the positives, the all-inclusive drinks were amazing — although some were perhaps a little too strong! The animation team were also fantastic. They did a great job of getting everyone involved in the daily activities and were friendly and enthusiastic throughout our stay. Access to the water park was a big plus and we really enjoyed having it right there. Our room was comfortable, the beds were comfy, and we had a great view of the water park from our balcony. The pool rules did seem a little over the top, particularly the restrictions around jumping and diving. It felt quite strict for a holiday resort and took a bit of the fun out of using the pool. The evening entertainment was probably our biggest disappointment after the food. It seemed very much geared towards children, which is fine for a family resort, but the entertainment finished around 9:30–10pm and then there was absolutely nothing afterwards — not even some background music. It would have been nice to have something for adults to enjoy or simply some music and atmosphere in the evenings. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest issue for us. We found the quality and choice disappointing, especially considering we stayed for 9 nights. By the end of the holiday, we were really fed up with it, and it did take away from what could have otherwise been a much more enjoyable stay. Overall, there were definitely some good points — the water park, drinks, animation team, comfortable beds and balcony view were all great. However, the food was such a major let-down that it stopped the holiday from being as enjoyable as it could have been.

Hogy őszinte legyek, a vízi vidámpark tényleg nagyon jó, és ez volt a fő ok, amiért ezt a szállást választottuk. Az „all-inclusive” koncepció viszont inkább viccnek tűnik – egyáltalán nem az, amit a neve sugall. A reggeli elég gyenge volt, az ebéd pedig hol jobb, hol rosszabb, bár azt kell mondanom, hogy a koktélok remekek voltak, és határozottan felvidítottak minket. A recepciósok és a lobbybár személyzete kedves volt, nagyon vendégszerető, és folyamatosan rendben tartották a helyet. Ugyanakkor egyértelműen kevés a személyzet a vendégek számához képest, különösen az esti csúcsforgalom idején. És fiúk, kérlek, kérdezzetek meg minket, mielőtt letisztítjátok az egész asztalt, miközben még éppen eszünk. A zene néha kicsit túl hangos lehet. Ha olyan szerencsés vagy, hogy vízi parkra néző szobát kapsz, próbáld meg a magasabb emeleten kérni. Gondolom, visszatérek majd, hogy meglátogassam Ivant és Dariát a bárban, ha már elsajátítottak még néhány koktélkeverési trükköt. Egy kis figyelmeztetés: foglalás előtt mindenképp ellenőrizzétek az időjárást több forrásból is, mert errefelé nagyon megtévesztő lehet. Próbáljatok olyan meleg, igazi nyári napokat kiválasztani. Mindazonáltal, a hibák ellenére, egy ilyen nyaralás után tényleg nem bírom elviselni a gondolatot, hogy vissza kell mennem dolgozni!

As a long term manager in a hotel, I arrived from a night flight with my wife (senior citizens) and 3 other families with small children. We booked 4 rooms in advance (total of 14 persons). The welcome we faced upon arrival from the receptionist (Denislav) was demeaning to say the least. From the moment we arrived (early morning), we were unable to BUY coffee from the bar and were explained that only after we get our rooms (at 15:00) we will be able to get coffee. The attitude was shocking: no compassion for elderly people or small children. During these long hours, we, the entire group, waited for our rooms, while we noticed the arrival of many families who were given their rooms without any extra charge (so they said). We offered to pay for an advance check-in, but sadly we were told that "there are no empty/clean rooms available". I wonder what is the difference between us and those who got their rooms long before check-in hour??? Eventually we received 1 room at about 14:00 and were charged EU 24.00 for the "early check-in". Even for a safe in the room, we were asked to pay, in advance, EU4.00 for each day. We have travelled a lot in our life, but we have never been asked to pay for a safe in the room. That and not only, we were given 4 rooms on the 1st floor on top of a large black roof full of dirt and cats roaming in our balconies. Zlatti the PR manager tried to help but the "damage" was already done. Although the kids had a great time at the park and the water slides, we, the senior citizens were left with a bitter taste of our stay and do not plan to return to Aqua Nevis again.
