My partner and I spent a full week at Mangia’s Selinunte Resort and it exceeded every expectation. The staff truly made the stay: reception, housekeeping, chefs, waiters, and activity coordinators were all friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about their work. The rooms and communal areas (pools, sports facilities) were immaculate throughout. The food was a real highlight — authentic Italian cuisine, fresh and full of flavour, with excellent variety on the all-inclusive package. The activities programme was equally impressive, including cooking classes, aqua aerobics, dancing, and Italian-themed evenings. Special thanks to Rosita and Alessia, whose energy and professionalism made every session even more enjoyable. The beach was beautiful and just minutes away, with a free shuttle, sunbeds, umbrellas, and water sports (paddleboards etc.) all included. Overall, excellent facilities, great food, and an outstanding team. We’d return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality holiday in Sicily.
We had a lovely stay at Mangia’s Resort Selinunte for a few days and really enjoyed our experience. A special mention goes to Lu Scusi Restaurant & Bar, where we tried the pizza — absolutely delicious and definitely one of the highlights of our stay! 🍕✨ The Director was wonderful: very friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. You can really see the care and attention that goes into making guests feel comfortable and well looked after. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, with great hospitality and a lovely team. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant — we left with some beautiful memories and would happily come back! ❤️
Lovely staff, but the insect issue is real Overall, we liked the hotel. The staff were genuinely lovely, and you could tell they really cared about the guests. Even when parts of the entertainment felt a little outdated, the team put in so much effort that it still made for a really positive experience. That said, a few things did not quite add up. A lot of other reviews mention flies, and unfortunately that was definitely true for us. We made an active effort to arrive right at the start of breakfast, lunch, and dinner because we did not really trust the buffet once it had been sitting out. If you came a little later, there were flies on quite a few items, which was pretty off-putting. The rooms also were not great. Our first room smelled and had more than 15 tiny fruit flies in it, so we asked to move. The hotel did move us, which we appreciated, but the second room then had ants. We did not want to move again, so we just accepted it, but the hotel definitely felt quite insect-friendly. The food was okay, but a bit disappointing. It felt quite generic and not especially local, which was a shame given the location. I would have loved to see them lean much more into where they are. So overall: lovely staff, good intentions, and some nice moments, but the flies, ants, and food really held it back.
We stayed at this hotel for eight days. It's a wonderful and charming place, the stunning nature and well-kept gardens are breathtaking. The hotel is clean and the staff are exceptionally friendly. It's true that it's about 1 km from the sea, but there's a free shuttle bus that runs constantly. The bartenders, Giovani, Vitto, and Gussepe, are incredibly kind and helpful. They made Sicily seem even more beautiful. I hope to return someday.
Nice hotel but still some room for improvement. Food was ok to good - depending on the day. Service could have been better. Also depending on the staff. Some try hard others not so much. We booked via booking.com and had somehow different rules than other guests, however the staff always needed to be reminded of this which was quite annoying. The private beach was lovely. There’s a padel spot nearby which is great but overpriced. For visiting the neighborhood you need a car. All in all I’d probably not come again but nevertheless had a great holiday :)

Temple E at Selinus in Sicily is a Greek temple of Magna Graecia of the Doric order. It is found on the hill to the east of the city's acropolis.
