Mirabelle Hotel

Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. The food was quite good, and there was something for everyone. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and pleasant to stay in. The reception staff could definitely improve, as they were not always very helpful. The pool was really nice, but it was a bit disappointing that it closed at 6:00 PM. The bar had a great selection of drinks, and the beach was just a short walk away, which was a big advantage. The best part of our stay was definitely the animation team. They were all amazing, but Polly deserves a special mention. She had such a great vibe, was always smiling, full of energy, and made every activity so much fun. She really made our holiday even more enjoyable!

We had an amazing stay at MiRaBelle Hotel. The people from animation team were always smiling, energetic and friendly. They organized fun activities every day and made everyone welcome. With them our stay was much more enjoyable. They created a wonderful atmosphere and encouraged both children and adults to join the activities. Thank you the entire animation team for making our holiday unforgettable!! And special thanks for Polly, she always made us laugh and was full of positive energy every day!🫶🏻🫶🏻

We had a really nice stay and overall enjoyed our time at the hotel. The service was very good, and the 24-hour service was a big plus. The bartenders were always friendly and welcoming, and the shuttle service to the beach was very convenient. We especially enjoyed the pool area, where there was a great playlist and a fun atmosphere, although the music was sometimes a little too loud. The animation team was very friendly and entertaining, especially Martin. The activities such as water polo, aqua gymnastics, and the club dance were a lot of fun and made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was another highlight. The snacks at the snack bar were delicious, and the buffet offered a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. We also really appreciated that there was no language barrier and that we could communicate easily in German. There were a few minor things that could be improved. The Wi-Fi did not always work. Additionally, there was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the toilets. The elevator could also take quite a long time to arrive. Concerning our room, the sofa bed was not particularly comfortable; however, the rooms themselves were generally nice. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the hotel. The friendly staff, fun activities, good food, and convenient service made our stay very enjoyable.

There are plenty of reasons as to why we were unhappy with our stay at this hotel and regret choosing it for our holiday. First of all, our room had water damage at the ceiling. We realised it in the evening but were told we are unable to move rooms until the next morning. The paint was already coming off the ceiling, falling onto the floor right next to our beds. We were told to go to reception at 9am so we did that with out packed bags but then had to wait 3 more hours until the new room was ready. The pool area, especially the chairs and tables, are quite dirty and in the evening the staff just quickly sprayed the floors with water but we never saw them clean anything else. In the lobby, the hotel has a parrot in a really small cage. It just sits there all day and rarely gets interacted with other than by guest. Broke our hearts! Additionally, the description the hotel has on our travel agent's website (TUI) was that they accomodate vegans upon request. We requested vegan food before booking, after booking and TUI even sent an email to the hotel themselves. These emails were acknowledged and replied to. When we arrived at the hotel 2 months after that, there was barely any vegan food there, only a mix of sides like rice and potatoes. We addressed this with the hotel manager who claimed to have never received our request, yet the hotel replied to my email as well as TUI's. She later gave us 2 packages of oat milk (which was great!) to take to our room and 2 packages of raw plain tofu. We didn't end up using it and found it rather disrespectful. The next day, the food was significantly better at lunch but breakfast options remained almost nonexistant and dinner was still quite poor, so we took the improvements as coincidental. We didn't even have a single dessert in all of our stay. For our last day, we just ate outside the hotel to at least enjoy the food a little bit. This all inclusive holiday meant a lot of stress, communication and and compromising our comfort for us. Don't advertise your hotel as vegan friendly if you think vegans need nothing but tofu. Also, there is nothing to do in the evenings. Some days there was like a dance show for an hour but nothing specifically engaging. Playing pool costs an outrageous 5€ per game so the one ping pong table is the only option. The gym room also closes at 5pm. The 2 stars we do give the hotel are for the very attentive and nice staff that work in the restaurant, at the bars and in the animation team.

First and foremost, a rating of 11/10 for the hotel staff – both the cleaners, receptionists, and waiters. These people deserve the highest praise. The food is edible but repetitive – after three days, you'll get tired of the same old thing. Three themed food evenings are organized throughout the week. The bar staff deserve a decent tip – the gentlemen are very good. Regarding the room – the decor is standard 2000s. We found an unpleasant smell of damp in the room – upon checking, there was mold behind the furniture. The toilet flush valve was not working properly, and the bathroom door lock was damaged. A major drawback – the Mirabelle Hotel doesn't have its own beach – but there is a hotel van that transports guests to the beach next to the Berlin Hotel, where you can spend the day on your own towel under your own umbrella purchased at a market stall. There's a private beach about 1.5 km from the Berlin Hotel, where you can rent a sunbed and umbrella for €9 for a single sunbed with a mat and €6 for an umbrella, which works out to €24 for the pair. Another downside is the poor quality of the wristbands the hotel provides – they can come undone after a single dip in the sea and are easy to lose. Fortunately, the hotel staff is aware of this and replaces them with new ones, although the daily replacement is a bit frustrating, as the hotel seems to be saving so much on these paper wristbands instead of handing out silicone ones.
