I’m very satisfied with this hotel. We stayed here for one week in the middle of August and we had a great experience.
Many, but not all the staff were very friendly, especially the ladies working at reception and Monica, who worked at the restaurant/bar.
The room was a little bit old-fashioned, but everything worked properly and it was clean. The pool was nice, and we had no problems getting sunbeds, even though the hotel was fully booked.
The food was pretty good. We really liked that you could order à la carte at Nelia Gardens if you wanted something quick while being by the pool, such as pizza or pasta.
With the all-inclusive package, breakfast is served at Nelia Gardens, and it was very good. Lunch and dinner are served at the sister hotel, Nelia Beach, which is only a two-minute walk away. The food there was very tasty, with lots of variety. They had, for example, Mediterranean and Mexican-themed dinners. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth it.
I also liked that you can buy two sunbeds and an umbrella for €8 at Limanaki Beach, which is about a four-minute walk from the hotel. You can purchase vouchers from reception. The beach also has a bar, Skifos Bar, where drinks are included in the all-inclusive package.
The hotel is within walking distance of the center, and you have everything you need nearby. However, if you are sensitive to noise at night, this might not be the hotel for you. The hotel itself is pretty quiet, but there are lots of parties and loud music nearby.
I don’t agree with the negative comments about this hotel, as it exceeded our expectations. You get what you pay for, and for us it was definitely worth it!
We will definitely come back
A small hotel with an even smaller pool.
The staff is nice, especially at the breakfast buffet.
The breakfast is the same every day, but really tasty and with options for everyone. You have 3 types of eggs, Cooked and raw veggies, salads, cheese, meat, different types of bread, croissants, porridge, few types of Greek yogurt, cereals. We liked it.
You have a kettle in the room, tea, instant coffee and 2 types of glasses.
The rooms are quite big, but very noisy. We didn't sleep ok because it was extremely noisy. Tourist by the pool at 3-4-5 AM, drunk, shouting, the cleaning ladies banging door or the cleaning cart at 7 AM.
The location is good, in the center, close by the beach. Bus station close by.
Me and my family had a great stay at Nelia Gardens Aparthotel. The apartments were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with any questions. The location is excellent: close to the beach, restaurants, and the center of Ayia Napa. The pool area was very nice and perfect for relaxing during the day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
This gets a solid 3 star review for me, the service is excellent. The rooms are good, nothing spectacular so if thats what you want then maybe not the place for you. However the beds are extremely comfortable and one of the reasons i would seriously look at booking this again. The pool is very small, and there isnt really a bar facility on an evening, not within the hotel anyway, instead you have to go to a bar on site. I couldnt tell you if this is part of the all inclusive deal or not. The pool has a small child play area with a separate shallow pool and a couple of water activities. Again this shallow pool is very small and your chuldren may get bored of it aftrr a couple of days. The breakfast was totally adequate and certainly not an issue. For me this stop is perfect for a short stay if you dont mind a small pool and are happy to take a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. There is also a beach nearby and a convenience store on site with another down the road. Air con rooms, tv, and the studios have a self catering facility. I enjoyed my stay and ate in town on an evening.
Recepetion were accusing us of things we didnt even do and they were very hostile torwards us. I hope the people from there start acting more gently torwards customers.
