Royal Taj Mahal – All Inclusive

Royal Taj Mahal surprised me in the best way possible! I loved everything about this hotel especially that it was huge and had many facilties. Firstly,I would like to start with the staff. They were extremly welcoming and friendly…The staff at the reception spoke really good english and they were able to solve all the problems we had during our stay. The waitresses were also really kind with us no matter if it was breakfast,lunch or dinner they would serve us with drinks imediatelly after we seated (The food was really good in my opinion and varied from a day to another with special cousines during some evenings). The animation team was lovely. They organised activities really often. The staff at the Aqua Park and Luna Park were also really cool (Shoutout to my Ivorian friends😎) . They made me feel really relaxed and welcomed. Secodly, the beach was extremly cozzy,with bars that served delicious coktails. Also,the parties at the beach bar and the events at the Royal Arena were unforgettable… I never missed one!! The hotel itself looked extremly cleanned and the cleaning ladies were fast and precised with cleaning tourist’s rooms. To sum all up,I would definitely come here next year,because those people work very hard for you in order to have the best vacation and relax as much as possible. Çok teşekkür ederim,Taj Mahal!🙏🏻

Everything about this hotel was truly amazing! The food, our room, the pools, the water slides and the amusement park – everything was excellent! ⭐️ A very special compliment goes to the entire animation team at the pool and on the beach. Our biggest praise goes to Jacop: he had a smile on his face every single day and always brought incredible energy and good vibes! You can immediately tell that he genuinely enjoys his job and puts his heart into it. 👏 Victoria also brings so much positive energy and a real winning spirit every day! 😊 Unfortunately, there is one point we would like to mention. In our opinion, the animator who hosts the evening shows should be given fewer daytime activities at the pool, allowing the other animators more opportunities to lead them. His attitude during the day is very different from the way he presents himself in front of a large audience in the evening. He seems to show his smile and energy mainly when people are watching him or when he is surrounded by his “chosen” guests. Towards other guests, he often comes across as uninterested and arrogant, which is very disappointing for someone who represents the animation team. It is a shame that other animators, who genuinely do their job with passion, heart and real enthusiasm, are not given more opportunities to lead activities themselves. They are the ones who create such a great atmosphere and truly make guests feel welcome. We would strongly recommend that the hotel management pay more attention to this and give more opportunities to the animators who show their positive energy throughout the entire day – not only when they are the centre of attention. Apart from that, we truly enjoyed our stay and were extremely happy with our holiday!

Very disappointing experience overall and nowhere near what we expected from a so called 5 star resort. The room had multiple maintenance issues including a glass lamp hanging dangerously by a single cable, a broken hairdryer and a broken socket near the kettle area which became a safety concern with our toddler. One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because their website states “No smoking on site” due to my asthma. This was completely misleading. People smoked absolutely everywhere including by the pool, beach loungers, restaurants and seating areas. There was even an ashtray inside the room. The constant smoke smell triggered my asthma badly throughout the trip. For a 5 star international resort, the lack of English speaking staff was shocking. Most staff were polite, but even basic conversations became difficult and we constantly needed translation apps. The vegetarian food was extremely disappointing. Turkey has amazing vegetarian cuisine so we expected much better. Most hot vegetarian dishes were bland, plain or just boiled vegetables. For the first few days we practically survived on pasta. After we complained, chefs did try to make more vegetarian options which we appreciated, but they were still nowhere near the quality or effort put into meat dishes. The “Indian themed” buffet was also laughable. Simply adding “Indian” before rice or curry does not make it Indian food. The indoor pool was closed because it was “summer season” despite the outdoor pools being too cold to use comfortably, which made no sense. We had emailed in advance mentioning we were travelling with a toddler and celebrating our daughter’s birthday, yet were allocated a room extremely far from the main facilities and there was not even a small gesture for the birthday. Some positives: the kids funfair was lovely and our toddler enjoyed it. Water stations and toilet facilities around the resort were also convenient. Overall, the resort looks impressive in photos but the actual experience was deeply disappointing.

The hotel is nice, but AVOID the salon. They overcharge without speaking to you about a price beforehand and don't tell you things like not to get the hair wet until after the hair is done. It's a resort with pools everywhere!

During my recent stay at the Royal Taj Mahal Hotel in Side, I was truly impressed by every aspect of the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism, making me feel immediately comfortable. The hotel’s architecture and interior design are stunning, combining elegance with a luxurious atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable holiday. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished, offering all the amenities I could wish for. The housekeeping team ensured everything remained spotless throughout my stay. The dining options were another highlight—every meal offered a rich variety of fresh, delicious dishes, and the service was consistently attentive. Whether enjoying breakfast or dinner, the quality exceeded my expectations. The pool area and beach were equally impressive. There were plenty of sunbeds, beautifully maintained grounds, and a relaxing ambiance. The entertainment team also did a fantastic job, providing enjoyable activities without being intrusive. Overall, everything about the Royal Taj Mahal was excellent. The combination of comfort, service, and atmosphere made it one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a perfect vacation.
