Our stay at this hotel has been far from comfortable because neither the hotel nor its staff seem to make any real effort for their guests.
We are three families staying here — 5 adults and 6 children, in three rooms. On August 21, I sent the hotel a message asking them to make sure there were electric kettles in our rooms before our arrival. I received a reply confirming that everything would be arranged. We checked in on August 22, but there was no kettle in any of the three rooms.
I contacted the hotel again, but at first no one replied, so I went to reception personally. After some time, they brought a kettle to my room, but the other two rooms still did not receive one.
I cannot start my morning without having coffee because that is what my body is used to, and the children also need to have tea. The hotel provides no water, tea, or coffee for preparation in the rooms. I also wonder what families with babies who need formula are supposed to do. Are they expected to constantly go around the hotel asking for hot water?
I was also not allowed to take a plate of fruit and biscuits from the restaurant for my child. I was told that the child had to eat in the restaurant. The attitude of the staff towards guests is extremely unpleasant, rude, and unfriendly.
The television in our room has not worked since the beginning of our stay. After we reported it to reception, a technician came to our room but was unable to fix the problem. No alternative solution was offered, even though the televisions in our friends’ rooms next door are working normally. Today it has been raining all day, and I honestly do not know how I am supposed to entertain my children in the room when even the television does not work.
The hotel itself looks perfectly fine, but the terrible attitude of the staff and their lack of respect for guests bring the overall standard of the hotel down significantly.
We will never return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone. We have been coming to Croatia every year for the past eight years, and this is the first hotel where the answer to almost everything seems to be “No” or “It’s not allowed.”
Drove 7 hours+ with traffic from opatija. Eventhough we booked on agoda and paid fully. They didnt give us all inclusive. Despite it having mentioned that its an all inclusive hotel. Please see email below informing me of the all inclusivity after I paid for the booking. Maybe the staff member who checked us in was being racist since we have flown and travelled from so far. Said we couldn't have dinner but they will do it as a favour?
The best value for momey. Good food, good staff, clean and comfortable room, great swimming pools, lot off place for a game, kids are really enoy. Free parking, if you book it on hotels web sites! We were very happy with our 7 day stay in the hotel! We can't complain on anything on our stay.
Amazing experience at this hotel. Service was great! Food was delicious and authentic Croatian cuisine. Mixed salad was the best I have ever had. The prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend Adria hotel
Everything about our stay at the Adria Hotel in Biograd was amazing! The hotel was spotless, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. A big shoutout to Head Chef Josip for amazing meals! The hotel’s amenities were a real highlight. From start to finish, the experience was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay—and I genuinely can’t wait to come back!
