Review of Surf Mar Hotel in Lloret de Mar We stayed at the Surf Mar Hotel in Lloret de Mar and were really happy with our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful — at the bar, reception and in the restaurant. I would especially like to mention the cleaning staff, who have a really demanding job, especially in such hot weather. In fact, everyone working at the hotel does a great job looking after so many guests. My children really enjoyed the entertainment team and especially liked the animators who work at the hotel. They made their time there even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at the hotel. Thank you for a lovely time and for the wonderful memories!

We were placed in a room that had clearly been designed for guests with disabilities, despite being a family of four. There was absolutely no reason to assign us this room, and it significantly affected our stay. The air conditioning barely worked, making the room extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom had an awful, persistent smell throughout our stay, and the wardrobe had an unbearable odor, making it unpleasant even to store our clothes. The room felt neglected, poorly maintained, and should never have been assigned to guests in its current condition. To make matters worse, the hotel was full of large groups of children on organized excursions. They made excessive noise throughout the night, screaming and running through the hallways. On several occasions, someone even knocked on our door at 1:30 a.m., making it impossible to get a proper night's sleep. The pool was constantly overcrowded, with barely any space to swim. It was also poorly maintained and did not appear to be cleaned properly. Children were repeatedly jumping into the pool without any supervision, creating a dangerous environment where they could easily have injured my children. The situation at dinner was even worse. We witnessed children taking bites of food from the buffet and then putting it back onto the serving trays. This is absolutely unacceptable, extremely unhygienic, and creates a serious risk of spreading disease. The staff should never allow this to happen. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. The poor room conditions, lack of hygiene, excessive noise, and complete absence of supervision or management made our stay extremely unpleasant. We would not recommend this hotel to families expecting a comfortable, clean, and relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the food — everything was fresh and delicious. The location is excellent and very convenient. I would happily come back.

Horribil experience. Very old room with crack tiles and very dirty,no minibar. For 3 days no air conditioning. 90% of guests groups of kids from Poland , they were very rude and very loaud. Food mediocre. I dont recomand. 4* never maybe 2 stars.

Spent a long weekend for a netball tournament, great value for money, food was good with lots of option including cocktails! Perfect for 10 girls from England. Only issue I had was my room key had to be recharged a few times as wasn't working but otherwise had a pleasant stay: thank you ✨
