We really enjoyed our stay at Elmi. For a small charge we upgraded our room to a suite and the room was very nice and spacious with a large deck. Dont expect the highest quality food but it was decent and you get what you pay for, but the value of elmi was great for the price. The staff was friendly. Especially our favorite bartender Konstontino. Might have butchered the spelling of his name. Crete is beautiful. King scorpio just down the street is a good place to eat or spend the day laying in the sun, enjoying the beach. We rented a scooter for cheap just a block down the road the guy matched the price I found online from a different rental company close by. We used it to go see knosos and the aquarium and got our laundry done just down the road for 12 euros. Down the road we enjoyed eating at white elephant and my gf got a tattoo at stigmata for a good price. Lots to see and do in the area.
The co workers were nice. But 'All Inclusive' is something where we shouldn't pay for Sauna ..and Towels...and seats on the Sunbed!!!!! And the knob to my door was broken..and the key hole...it took a lot of time to open the door...please do something about it

Elmi suites beach hotel i a really nice hotel. It is located near the sea (1min walk). The service is great as well. There are 7 pools within the hotel's complex. They're really nice. However, most mattresses around the pool are "reserved" by people early in the morning, who put towels on the deckchairs. The buffet was a bit disappointing. Some of the food isn't seasoned enough or, on the opposite, too seasoned. There isn't a broad diversity of food (same food). My brother and I had an issue with our first room ground floor (leak from the roof of the bedroom). However, the hotel dealt nicely with the issue and we were given another room (first floor) which even had a small terasse with seaview by the side. Overall, it is a nice hotel and it is definitely worth the price.
A complex of buildings catering quite a few people. Some buildings are older than others. They cope well at meal times, everyone knows what job they have to do so everything flows smoothly. The food is absolutely fine, there is something for everyone, freshly cooked. There are a few pools mostly small, very disappointing that they allow guests to leave their towels on the sun loungers even though they are still sleeping. We never found room at the main pool. The bars in the all inclusive are really good. The staff in general are all lovely, polite, helpful and hardworking.
