We really liked this resort but unfortunately I think we visited a bit too early in the year. We booked for the aqua park for our 6 year old, understanding it would open on the 1st, half way through our stay. When it did open, the only part of it my daughter could use stayed closed and taped off. She was gutted about this and there was little communication to tell us why this was the case.
For an all inclusive the food was pretty good and varied but my main issue was, water was not provided and had to be purchased for extra cost. I've never had this at an all inclusive before. The local wines and beers were pretty good too, as we're the cocktails. All served in actual glasses which was a nice touch.
Staff were all excellent, happy to help and cheerful from the minute we checked in to when we left.
My daughter spent a lot of time in the park, which was situated near the pool and we could watch her from the loungers and bar.
The room was very spacious and cleaned daily. We had a ground floor studio with a sea view, which had a private terrace and was close enough to the pool and park without heating the noise. I would ask for this room (1901) again if we revisited.
There is quite a steep hill to get up onto the strip but it didn't bother us, it's only a five minute walk. We hired a car direct with u2 cars in coral Bay, they were amazing, great car and €100 for three days. We just rang them and they delivered it to us.
Kapetanios Aqua Resort is a really nice place for a relaxed, family-friendly holiday. The hotel is clean and well looked after, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, even if some parts could maybe do with a bit of updating.
The pool area is definitely one of the highlights, especially if you’re going with kids. The slides and water features keep everyone entertained, and it’s a great place to spend the day.
What really made the stay stand out though was the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived and honestly couldn’t do enough for us. It made a big difference and gave the whole place a really warm, personal feel.
The food was fantastic with a good selection, so there was always something to enjoy no matter the time of day.
The kids’ mini disco, the singer, and the fire show were also a fantastic part of the holiday and really added to the overall experience, especially in the evenings.
It was also our first time abroad, and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience for me and my kids. The whole trip felt easy, relaxing, and really enjoyable, which made it even more special for us.
The location is also convenient—close enough to everything you need but still nice and quiet.
Overall, it’s great value for money and I’d definitely recommend it, especially for families or anyone looking for an easy, laid-back break. I’m already hoping to come back this time next year for another two weeks!
Lastly, a big thank you to all the staff for their hospitality and dedication to keeping the resort clean, tidy, and welcoming throughout our stay.
Thank you again love us lot that stayed in 1512 xx

Christos- staff member of the dining area ( hopefully spelt your name correctly) was amazing and one of the best members of staff, same goes for the lovely lady from the uk who works there ! Bar staff also deserve a massive shout out as these guys are so friendly and kind !
Food was lovely , rooms clean ( we did have ants quite a lot but, this isn’t the hotels fault) our room was right outside the pools so brilliant view ! The special touches for our sons birthday was truly amazing to !
Thank you !!
Good location within walking distance to restaurants and bars but not for adults travelling without children. The restaurant can only be described as a cafe not a restaurant although the food was average. We were not all inclusive and the service in the cafe was pretty rubbish it caters heavily for all inclusive. Housekeeping was poor the rooms were not cleaned properly. I woud not return to this hotel.
