This hotel was great! The food for breakfast lunch and dinner was always on point. Snacks not so much crisps and a few picky bits wich the kids didn't really like (their used to toasties burgers and hotdogs) The pool area was brilliant the kids loved the slides and activies. Location right on the beach was amazing for morning and evening walks but in a very quiet part with not as many bars and restaurants as we are used to. Overall this is the perfect place for a chilled family holiday. If your flyin from Ireland just know that u do not fly into the airport 20 mins from the hotel but one 2.5 hours from it which we didn't realise untill it was to late. But deffo one the top all inclusive hotels we've been to.
Had a lovely weeks holiday here, the hotel is a little need of decoration but it was clean and the room was cleaned daily. Was a very chilled week. The view out of my room towards the sea was fantastic. Pool area is excellent had fun on the slides. Good choice of food and drink. Always enjoyed a drink on the terrace. Staff very helpful and attentive. Never been to this part of Spain before but I would definitely return.
Stayed for a week as a family of three room with a sea view - views are amazing seeing the sun come up in the mornings. Room sea view deluxe - this room is the newly Refurb room while it’s lovely and open plan to the point it’s open plan bathroom So no door, no privacy if you need the loo or shower especially with an 11 year old who wants some privacy we had to a lot Of swapping round on balcony. And yes you can be heard going to the loo in the night. Facilities - pool big and spacious slide kept my child happy, Que for sunbed at 10am when pool opens but that’s the norm and plenty of beds still through the day. Entertainment team through the day were great plenty of interaction. Food - good choice but repetitive some days But you always find something in the restaurant and friendly staff. Pool bar - plenty a drinks avalible, Ice poles & crisps. No hot food selection it’s all in the restaurant. Overall the hotel Has plenty to do and once it’s fully Refurbished the rooms and hotel will be lovely as some areas are very dated but you can see the hotel is trying. Beach is across the road - sunbed hire is €6 per bed and not connected to the hotel, lovely views of the seas and harbour lots of locals very friendly It’s a quiet little place not many tourist shops to buy your souvenirs if you like that thing
We spent 7 nights at Playadulce Hotel with our 5-year-old daughter. Overall, we had a nice stay. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable – we had a room with a sea view, which was lovely. The hotel location is great, with the beach and promenade just outside, which made it very convenient. Our daughter really enjoyed the kids club – the animators were wonderful and also organised a mini disco for children in the evenings, which she loved. There is also a small playground and a mini golf area outside. However, there were a few downsides. At the pool, the lifeguard asked us to leave at around 5:40 pm because it closes at 6 pm. Considering the heat, it felt quite early to have to leave both the pool and sunbeds. The newer sea-view rooms are located under the restaurant, and from early morning we could hear chairs being moved – it sounded like cleaning was happening very early. Also, in room 206 there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, probably from the drainage. At night and early morning it was quite difficult to tolerate. Apart from that, the room itself was very nice – spacious, clean, with fresh towels, bathrobes, and bedding. The food was quite repetitive, with limited variety, although we found the salads to be good. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for a short holiday.
I stayed at this hotel during the Easter holidays in 2026 for five days, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The room was a good size, very clean, and had a large bathroom with both a bath and a shower, which was a nice bonus. It was also very quiet—honestly quite peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. There was a slight language barrier at times if you only speak English, but it wasn’t a big issue and we were always able to communicate what we needed. The facilities were one of the highlights. There’s a great outdoor pool with five slides, although the water was a bit cold. There’s also an indoor pool, which is a good alternative. On top of that, the hotel has an arcade, two bars, a playground, and even mini golf, so there’s plenty to do. The Wi-Fi was very good and worked well throughout the hotel with strong coverage. If I had to point out a downside, it would be the elevators—they weren’t the best and could be a bit inconvenient at times. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families or anyone looking for a clean, relaxing place with lots of activities.
