⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – Couldn't Recommend More! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. The Staff: From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They truly couldn't have done any more for us to make our stay special. The Room: Our room was very nice and comfortable. We did encounter one minor issue during our stay, but the management handled it flawlessly—it was completely resolved within the hour. Food & Drink: The food was amazing, and the drinks were absolutely beautiful. Every meal was a highlight! A quick tip for future guests: The surrounding area is a little hilly, which is just something to take into account if you have mobility concerns. However, the short walk down to the waterfront is 100% worth it because the beach is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful holiday.
The all-inclusive package was one of the best we've experienced. Meals were varied, fresh and well presented, with plenty of options for different tastes. Drinks and snacks were always available, and the pool bar had a lovely atmosphere. Every member of staff worked hard to ensure guests were comfortable. It was a relaxing holiday from beginning to end.
Overall okay, but there are a few downsides that mean we wouldn’t return to this place. Peace and quiet: Definitely calm, without the typical noisy resort vibe. Reception: The staff at the front desk were okay, but a bit lifeless and lacking energy. Cleanliness: The hotel is clean, and the rooms are too. Bathrooms: Definitely in need of a refresh. Pools: Nice little pool for kids, but the downside is that the water isn’t heated.There was also a huge number of wasps around the pool. The two central pools are okay. Food: The food served is very repetitive. Lunchtime was a total disaster-you’re literally melting from the heat, and the fans just don't cope. Drinks: The drinks were terrible-either sickly sweet or completely watered down. The bar served knock-off cocktails with very questionable ingredients. Staff: The restaurant staff seemed somewhat grumpy and genuinely surprised whenever you smiled at them. On the other hand, the housekeeping ladies were very polite and pleasant. Potential: The place definitely has potential since there’s plenty of space, but there seems to be no real vision or plan to make good use of it. Location: Quite far from Thessaloniki airport.
This hotel is situated around a 5 minute walkfrom the seafront, the staff are very attentive and the rooms are clean. The bar is small and there are not enough sunbeds at the busy times of the day. We stayed on an all inclusive basis , but did not eat in the hotel all of the time due to the repeitive nature of the food. There is no evening entertainment nor are there any lifts which for guests with mobility issues will cause problems. We went in the low season which reflected in what the hotel provided, ie the private beach bar and a la carte resturant where not available, but this was not told to us before arrival.
We stayed at the Royal in 2025 , nice hotel , we choose it because of the pool. But the pool photo was very deceiving.. good job the beach is close by
