Hotel is way too loud for the ones at the anchor unbearable it kills all the beauty of nature although it looks nice from far away
An excellent stay. Service was brilliant and the views are awesome. Probably the best service that I've been too. Buffet style breakfast and dinner. Lunch has a set menu. The variety of food is excellent. No alcohol which for me is perfect. Definitely will be coming back. We arrived in April, next time we will arrive in May / June as the outdoor pools and sea are a little cold. In door pools are heated. Again, would highly recommend angel marmaris to anyone looking for a nice secluded holiday with sun sea and sand.
This hotel was possibly the most serene, relaxing and clean hotel in my multiple visits to the area. They have separate women timings for facilities such as the infinity pool and spa. The food is top quality and the service is the best I have seen in Turkey. I am definitely coming back soon , I loved it !
We booked our reservation and paid full last year. But we couldn't go because of pandemic time. We got deal with hotel management that we will come 2021 June without paying extra. Unfortunately hotel management asked more money from us to pay. Which is unacceptable for us.We paid more then $2500 and now they want to more than extra $1000.We already paid everything in the beginning. They used our money almost 1 year in their bank account. For us this hotel management very dishonest and liars. They are cheating people very professionally. They made us very disappointed. Be aware from this hotel.
**WHAT WE LIKED** The main appeal of course is the Muslim concept of the resort. It's a family oriented resort but was still a nice alternative for a child-free couple looking to avoid boozy adults-only resorts. It's nice to be reassured that everything you're eating/drinking is halal. There's a masjid just outside the gates. The ladies-only sections of the resort are truly private. Even at the mixed beach, everyone is dressed modestly which for us made us a lot more comfortable that we would be in other Marmaris resorts that cater to the European elite, who uh, enjoy not wearing much when it’s hot out. They certainly went the extra mile to make the experience special for honeymooners. They decorated our room with flowers, candles, twinkly lights, and delicious dessert. One morning, we were served complimentary breakfast in our room and on another evening, a reservation was made for us at the Hisar Restaurant which has the most gorgeous waterfront/sunset views on the entire property. We both really appreciated these perks. The service at the resort from the moment you enter to the moment you leave was impeccable. One time we wanted to eat indoors but there were no tables; they made one appear in 60 seconds. Every evening while we were out enjoying the nightly entertainment, we came back to our room with curtains drawn, slippers ready at the bedside, and a sweet nighttime treat to enjoy after a long day. If there is anything within the resort, your assigned assistants need only be messaged (via WhatsApp) to help coordinate it all. Views. White sand beaches with crystal-clear water. Waterfront dinner at sunset every day overlooking mountains. Top notch food with something for all tastes available daily. **THINGS WE DID NOT LIKE** We were thrown for a loop when we were denied entry into the resort without first being able to produce our marriage certificate. None of the fine print indicated that bringing this was necessary, so this was a very stressful way to start off our vacation; scrambling through our google docs and calling up family overseas to rummage through our documents. For the record, we would have had no issue bringing along this documentation if we were told about it ahead of time, but to ask us to produce a document on sight that literally no one carries with them, was a very stressful way to begin our vacation. Our biggest criticism is the value you get for the money. The prices are already astronomical but more pronounced if you’re a non-Turk and are charged double what locals pay. We were surprised at how many things were not included in this all-inclusive resort. Ex) If you want to take a bike ride from exactly 12-1 PM, you’re welcome to do so free of charge if you go with the bicycle tour group. However, expect to be charged extra if you want to pedal a bike around the resort any other time. There are no irons available in the rooms, so if your clothes were wrinkled in your luggage, be prepared to shell out extra to have them press your clothes. The arcade – extra. Paddle boats/canoes – extra. And the prices are hardly justifiable--1500 TL (84 USD) to jet ski for 15 minutes. Honestly the money grab is a little tacky on their part. Lastly, the bees. OH THE BEES. Regular non-food outdoor activities are fine however the moment there is anything other than water on your table, be prepared for some BIG FAT bees that are not afraid of humans to join you. We were given a cup of ?coal to place at our table; the smoke is supposed to repel the bees, it didn't work. You will be shooing them away constantly. This made it absolutely impossible for us to eat outdoors (and therefore enjoy the waterfront/sunset eating experience.) We ate indoors each day :/ **Final thoughts** It’s a pretty place with great service but also a lot of room for improvement in terms of value. Would we return here again as a couple? Probably not, especially if we're paying non-Turk prices. Would we return here as a family? Maybe, possibly.
