Everything about our stay at Cook’s Club Corfu was perfect. The rooms are stylish and offer plenty of storage, and the entire property is kept immaculately clean.
The service was top-tier—a huge thank you to Maria in Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to organise our on-site a-la-carte restaurant booking in advance. The cocktail menu is excellent, featuring their own unique list that we loved exploring.
We really enjoyed the nightly live entertainment, especially the violinist and live bands, which added such a great vibe to our evenings. Highly recommend for any couple looking for a relaxing and fun holiday!
Great, almost perfect. Stuff is wonderful everybody is really nice. Food is 10/10, especially the food at the swimming pool during the lunch hours. Unlimited burgers, tacos it is just perfect and every single day something different. Restaurant with possibility of the mobile app food reservation is a perfect idea. I would really recommend it to every single hotel.
Now, why not 5 stars:
- not enough free drink possibilities, of course there is aperol or Hugo but it would be nice to have a wider choice
- doors in the room to another room, they are to thin, we could hear every single noise of our neighbourghs, please delete these doors or buy a better ones
- à la carte restaurants, the one near the pool is worse then the hotel restaurant, to be honest overall food in the main restaurant is much better then à la carte restaurants and they are not worth it
We stayed for one week as a couple in a Pool View Room.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at a modern, clean and relaxing hotel with excellent pool areas and a friendly atmosphere. However, there were some inconsistencies in communication and dining that affected the experience.
Key improvements would be clearer communication, more consistent dining experiences, and better integration of services after check-out.
We would return, but would plan dining more carefully next time and account for a few of the limitations noted.
that is wrong with a 5-star hotel.
First of all, in general very little information about the operation of the hotel. We can pass 10x in front of the reception, not a hello and this remark applies to almost the entire hotel. In the main restaurant, only the Asian staff is smiling, kind and helpful and seems happy to work. The others work in slow motion by dragging their feet. For a 5-star hotel, the dress code regarding shoes is catastrophic, it would be necessary to harmonise the shoes and not the sneakers. In addition, the air conditioning is much too strong in the restaurant as well as in the hotel. Regarding food, it is sometimes very limited (ex: when you take a gyros hoping to eat local you have 3 pieces of gyros and the rest is just bread and raw vegetables). In addition, it is an adult hotel but the DJ is uninteresting a playlist would have the same effect. It is a quiet hotel but with an average 30-40-year-old clientele but you have the impression of being in a guest house. There is a significant lack of activity. The deckchairs are very pretty in the context of the hotel but not comfortable, for a 5 star cushions are recommended.
The toilets of the outdoor pool are cleaned at 8am and 9am then nothing for hours...
However, the cleaning of the room is perfect, the setting of the hotel is pretty. This lack of life and desire to work in the hotel is felt very strongly. I prefer to talk to you about it directly for the good of the hotel rather than putting an opinion on the Internet.
Lack of Greek culinary specialty. Every day the same food just 2-3 things change, we feel like we are in .Italy with pasta and pizza except that it's bad
We stayed at Cooks Club Corfu for 4 nights with a group of friends and overall had a good holiday.
The rooms were modern and comfortable, and the facilities were great. There are two pools with plenty of sunbeds, and even though the hotel was busy, we never struggled to find somewhere to sit by the pool or in the restaurants.
The food was good, with rotating menus that gave a nice variety throughout our stay. It wasn’t anything exceptional, but it was consistently enjoyable. We also needed to add an extra person to our booking before we arrived, and the hotel accommodated this without any issues, which we really appreciated.
There were a few things that could be communicated more clearly. We didn’t realise that the Smokehouse Grill restaurant is only available if you’re staying for a minimum number of nights, which was disappointing. When we first arrived, there was also some confusion about how food ordering worked, as some restaurants require you to order through the app (such as Cantina), while others require you to order in person (such as the pool restaurant). We worked it out fairly quickly, but we overheard several other guests experiencing the same confusion, so a clearer explanation at check-in would help.
I also liked that there were no wristbands to wear. On our final day, we had an evening flight, so it was great that we could continue using the pool and store our luggage. However, the luggage room isn’t supervised and there doesn’t appear to be CCTV, so it’s worth keeping valuables with you. Public showers are also available, but they must be booked in advance. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication, we missed our booking and weren’t allowed to use them despite them being empty.
The biggest downside of our stay was the service. I want to be fair because not every member of staff was like this—we met some genuinely lovely, friendly people working in different areas of the hotel. However, the majority of our interactions felt cold and unwelcoming.
At an all-inclusive resort, guests naturally want to try different drinks and food throughout the day. Unfortunately, there were several occasions where we genuinely felt like we were inconveniencing staff simply by ordering. There was often no smile, no eye contact, staff continuing conversations with colleagues while serving us, and drinks being made in a way that felt rushed or irritated. My friends and I are all friendly, polite people, and we each commented on this independently before discussing it communally.
One example was when we ordered food through the Cantina app, but due to a technical error the restaurant wasn’t receiving our orders. We spoke to several members of staff for help, but nobody apologised or acknowledged the inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but a simple apology goes a long way in hospitality.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed many aspects of the hotel. However, hospitality is a huge part of the guest experience, and unfortunately that’s where Cooks Club fell short for us. If I returned to Corfu, I personally wouldn’t choose to stay here again purely because of the service.
