I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The view was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience even more special. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Also the food was delicious traditional Greek style A special thank you goes to Mario, the barman, who was friendly, professional, and made every visit to the bar enjoyable. Marina was also exceptional, always kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The combination of the beautiful scenery, excellent service, and warm hospitality made this a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return in the future.
It's a nice hotel with great views. All inclusive here is decent, unfortunately the food is meant to stodge, being mostly carb-based and most meats are really fat. Drinks are okay, however cola here tastes really sour and bland. I really have to appreciate cleaning services, you get new towels and sheets everyday without any problems. The hotel itself is far from beach, however you get free shuttle here 4 times a day (hours are on photos). You can rent a car or a bike here, cheaper than anywhere else in Istron. Pool is pretty big and deep. Once per visit in the hotel you can eat in a special greek BBQ restaurant for free with earlier reservation. We were informed by the staff that you shouldn't make a reservation more than a day in advance, only to be later told that the closest date would be three days later, after we left, which was a huge disappointment. You can take a bus to Agios Nickolados from here for 2.20 euros, but check the hours on their website, not on the bus stop. It was also said that smoking here is forbidden, but staff smoke, and they refuse to react on other people smoking.
We spent 7 days here and we are absolutely delighted! Room with spectacular view, spacious and cleaned everyday. Food: everyday different minimum 3 warm dishes. Greek food very well seasoned. Tzatziki, moussaka, imam bayildi, fish and calamaries. Always fresh watermelon and cake. Once a week, a barbecue dinner with choriatiki salad, dolma, and a plate of grilled meats. Baklava for dessert. 10/10 Service: very warm and kind Greek Team plus Big Cat (so lovely). Swimming pool; super refreshing, enough sun beds. Beach Voulisma - 2 km by walk but worth every step. Clean, stony but super nice. Beds plus umbrella 10€. I will come back here for sure in 20 years for retirement trip ;) Many thanks for hospitality! Efcharisto!
A bit uphill, but it is an awesome place. You get used to it. Was here in August 2024. Close to a wild beach where I was almost alone. 600 m . 10 minutes and you are in a heavenly beach with tons of space. And Voulisma beach is close, but longer distance. There is shuttle from the hotel to Voylisma. Also I rented a car and explored the eastern side of Crete. Breathtaking views! Hotel has a pool. Serves amazing food.
Overall it is fine, however below for a 4* hotel. Rooms are okay our view was fantastic, but furniture are shabby and we got 2 separate beds with my partner. The bathroom is very outdated, shower is super small. All-inclusive part is also okay, nothing special, I liked the food but the desserts were disappointing, alcoholic drinks are cheap quality and small portioned, coffee is straight up terrible. Pool area is amazing, big and deep, there are sunbeds and grass area as well, trees are overhanging with shadow. The hotel situated in a hill therefore there are a lot of steps and steep road, even hard for adults. Beaches are around 20-25 mins away, so getting back for lunch or dinner is tiring and risky, even with the shuttle bus. Staff is friendly and speaks English, lunch/dinner time they are a little aggressive with taking the plates. As for services, there are a few but they are expensive (basketball, tennis, snooker) and not included in the price. The second restaurant (BBQ) is only available once per visit and also very mediocre, but staff was friendly as well. Village is small, area is not so interesting, most sights are far away and require a car and a whole day trip. Recommend if you would spend a calm pleasant week around the pool, with unlimited drinks otherwise there are better options.
