A top-notch hotel where the technical staff truly makes a difference.
Special praise for the technical team. We had an issue with the room safe, and they fixed it within minutes – professional and efficient. As we traveled with children, the pool maintenance was our top priority, and they nailed it.
Even though it’s winter, the water temperature in both the indoor and outdoor pools is perfect – warm and comfortable for hours of swimming. The pools are crystal clear, and the water slide was a total hit with the kids, working flawlessly. It’s clear that the maintenance team takes their job seriously.
A great experience for families, especially regarding safety and the high standard of technical care. Highly recommended!
We have spent a great week in this hotel. Kids enjoyed the pool and the playroom very much. Our room was very nice and clean, it was in a quiet part of the hotel, it looked brand new and kids had their own bedroom. Kids club was not for us, since our kids don't speak German. We (adults) liked the food very much, however kids had some troubles with choosing from the buffet for dinners (and adult food was also not appealing to them). But they were never hungry, we always managed. Breakfast was always great. Staff was friendly and helpful, some of them spoke English. There are plenty of activities and attractions in the surrounding area (up to 1h drive) in summer. The hotel provided us with the Carntner Card, which is a great value, we used it a lot and saved a lot of money on attractions! If there is room for improvement, I would work on kids buffet, English speaking staff and some animals for kids to pet would be great. Overall it was a very nice stay.
**A Perfect Family Retreat!**
Our stay at Familienhotel Trebesingerhof was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make our visit special. The hotel is beautifully situated in a serene location, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, which added to the charm of our experience.
The family-friendly atmosphere is evident throughout the hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The dining experience at Trebensingerhof was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was diverse and plentiful, with something for everyone, and the evening meals were delicious, showcasing local cuisine and fresh ingredients.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the attention to detail and the personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our family felt welcome and cared for. Whether it was arranging a day of hiking, offering local tips, or simply checking in to see how we were enjoying our stay, their commitment to excellent service was clear.
In summary, Familienhotel Trebensingerhof is the perfect destination for a family getaway. The combination of beautiful surroundings, outstanding facilities, and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!
As a veteran of many Kinderhotels I’m surprised to be rating one less than 5stars. Our stay was great but the experience came up short in a few areas. Other kinderhotels have handled the connection between kids club and skiing much better. In theory there is a bus that drops them off for skischool to collect them from but the service let us down and our children (4&6) were left to head up the mountain alone. We travelled with our children and observed the same breakdown in the process happening the following day. I think the hotel shouldn’t advertise a service that is not reliable. Either they need a bus driver to ensure contact with skischool or a more reliable partner skischool.
The Goldeck ski area is more fun than it looks on paper, with the limited number of runs being of good quality. The hotel offers a heavily discounted ski pass too which is a real bonus.
The facilities at the hotel were excellent with pool and soft play both hugely enjoyed. Food for the grownups was of a lower standard than we’ve enjoyed at other kinderhotels, but not sufficiently so to spoil the experience.
Perfect for kids, lots of things to do. Only 4/5 because the food was without taste and they charged me extra 20$ for gluten free dinner every night! This is unacceptable!!
