Unfortunately, our experience fell far below the standard that was advertised and expected from an all-inclusive family resort. We travelled as two single mothers with our children looking forward to a safe and relaxing holiday. Instead, we experienced poor accommodation, hygiene concerns, inadequate facilities, and behaviour from staff that left us feeling unsafe throughout our stay.
The issues we encountered include the following:
False advertising: Entertainment was advertised at reception as taking place every evening from 9:00 pm. In reality, the only entertainment was Turkish music between 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm, with no activities suitable for families or international guests.
Poor hygiene and maintenance:
Unsafe accommodation: The bunk bed in our room was broken and unsafe for children. I reported this to management on the very first day, yet nobody came to inspect or repair it during our stay. The response was a simple shrugging of shoulders. The toilet also failed to refill properly due to the water supply being turned off during the day, meaning it frequently would not flush. We had to take matters into our own hands and fill the toilet manually just to utilise the toilet.
Swimming pool: The main swimming pool was visibly green. When I questioned reception about whether it was safe, I was simply told it contained “well water”. This explanation did not reassure us regarding hygiene or safety and in turn has left us with ear infections from what I believe was due to unacceptable water conditions.
Facilities: Only one water slide was operational and was turned on for a maximum of two hours. This was the only thing the children enjoyed on this holiday but they turned it off regardless. Wi-Fi was unavailable, there was no luggage storage available on our departure day, meaning we were forced to carry all of our luggage around the resort until we left. Having to sit in 35 degrees heat trying to entertain two children under 6 was torturous as we were not allowed to enter the pool due to the amount of luggage.
Throughout our stay, we spoke with several other families who shared the same disappointment and frustration. Everyone appeared dissatisfied with the condition of the hotel and the standard of service being provided.
We do not consider ourselves difficult guests and generally have modest expectations when travelling. However, this holiday was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment, improved hygiene standards, proper maintenance, professional staff training, and significant improvements to guest safety.
Most importantly, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, particularly women travelling alone or families with children. At no point should guests feel intimidated or unsafe while on holiday.
It’s the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The authorities should close it for public safety. Just look at the pictures: the mattresses were moldy, showers were dirty, bed linen was stained, the pool is muddy and green, the rooms smell like sewage and mold. The water coming out of the tap was yellow and at times they run out of water. There is no wifi. I felt pretty bad about the staff. They are kind, but yelled at by management, they wear dirty torn clothes. The hotel should provide them with uniforms. It’s a very beautiful location, pity that this place is ruined by human ignorance and greed.
Disgraceful! I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and checked out this morning in a hurry. Forget all your previous vacations. I changed rooms 3 times before finally agreeing to the 4th. The rooms are filthy, everything smells like sewage, the doors don't close, the water from the taps is yellow, the shower stalls are missing partitions, and insects are everywhere. The bed linens smell, we asked for new ones 5 times and they never came. Even my unused clothes are in terrible condition because of the smell in the room. There's no Wi-Fi. No TV channels at all. You come expecting all-inclusive, but there's nothing. The pool is a breeding ground for dead insects and is lush green. They pour 5 kilos of chlorine every two nights, thinking it's cleaning. The food is awful; we were sick of eating frozen potatoes, nuggets, meatballs, and chicken. Spinach and eggs for breakfast, spinach and eggs for lunch. You end up eating the same meal for at least 3 days. There's no security; anyone can use the sea and the pool freely. The staff are indifferent and unhelpful, and the same filth remains in the same place for at least 3 days. Apart from the two young people working at the bar, everyone, including the reception and managers, shouldn't even have a shred of experience in the service industry. There are two Indonesian cleaning girls and a senile woman who yells at them all day long. There's much more to say, but most importantly, the hotel needs to be shut down immediately, and the authorities, like the Ministry of Tourism, need to intervene. I paid over 60,000 for coffee and food from outside; what more can I say? It's not accessible for disabled people; there's no elevator. They say there's a water slide, but my child rode it once and was injured all over.
We were originally going to book another hotel, but since we were booking 3 rooms, we called Tatilbudur to book them all at once. Then, during the conversation, that hotel became fully booked and we couldn't get in. The sales consultant from Tatilbudur, Ms. Ezgi, said she would recommend another hotel of similar quality, and she suggested this one. We asked her if this hotel was good, if she could vouch for it, and if we would regret it. She said, "Don't look at the Google reviews, the reviews on Tatilbudur are very good, I vouch for it, you will never regret it." Okay, we said, we trusted her and booked it. Looking at the photos on the Tatilbudur website, the hotel looked great, then we looked at the general reviews. I saw one photo: a green pool. I couldn't believe my eyes. We thought it was the shade of a tree, that it was Photoshop, that the pool tiles were green. No. We went and saw it in person. It really was like that. You can't see the bottom of the pool. The tiles are quite blue. I don't know if it's algae or what happened. But trust the reviews. It's no coincidence that so many people are leaving negative reviews. Public health is being put at risk.
Hi. I'll write briefly without going into too much detail. We stayed there in July 2026. It doesn't even deserve the seemingly reasonable prices. Out of every 10 guests who arrived, 5 cancelled their reservations as soon as they saw the pool and other amenities. I think the management will struggle to survive this year unless they improve. There's absolutely no animation. The pools are dirty and green, like they've filled the water from a stream, even though they clearly claim it's artesian water. We stayed for 5 days and couldn't use the pool at all. Every time we asked, the management said it would be ready the next day, but it never improved. We booked through Tatil Budur (a Turkish vacation booking company). They said they could cancel, but they said the money would be refunded in 15 days, so we couldn't find another place, so we stayed. But I would never recommend it. I'll conclude in one sentence: It's the only place where you'll be humiliated for your money. Oh, and if you want to swim in the sea, it's very rocky, so you'll have to search for a place to swim. Just so you know. In short, there isn't even a sound system. They've installed one loudspeaker, and when someone connects via Bluetooth, it wastes time, leaving the rest of the guests in a terrible situation. Even the one person who stayed, like us, couldn't say they were satisfied. Tourists stay for a maximum of one day and then leave. So, don't believe the pictures you see online. This hotel makes every guest dislike Bodrum. Cleanliness and order are zero.
