Great hotel with great food, pools/slides and service. A special shout out to Ahmed Amer in the restaurant such a friendly and helpful member of staff, I think he should manage the whole resteraunt. Always happy and so eager to help you enjoy the stay. He made our stay memorable, thank you Ahmed. Food is tasty and varied and reateraunt is beautiful. Quick to get seated, never had to queue. There is also a Chinese buffet served Monday to Saturday in the outside covered area which is nice if you want a chance from the main restaurant. Beers are lovely and bar staff attentive. We could always get a sunbed at anytime of our stay during peak August. Lovely choice of pools including 3 great slides plus a children's splash park. If I were to give any negatives on the hotel I can only think of saying the location is a bit away from Paphos centre/harbour and it would be nice to have different on site restaurants just for choice like many other hotels have. Would recommend this hotel.
We had a very good stay there, everyone was satisfied in family. We went early september everyday we had 30-32degrees very good weather. First of all the food is insanely good and they have also childrens buffet. The staff especially the life guards are very friendly, always smiling. Our kid really liked to play with them especially with Karim (thank you for this again) We left the hotel with very good memories! Thank you !
Our 2nd visit here and once again a great place to stay. The hotel has excellent pools which are patrolled by the life guards dilligently. The staff are outstanding with Ahmed Amer in the dining area making sure you are looked after with kindness and efficiency. Olympia in the bar area is also outstanding. The hotel is family orientated and there is plenty to do for the littluns. The rooms could do with a bit of a facelift but that aside a smashing holiday👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We stayed at Louis Phaethon Beach, Paphos from 18–23 January 2026 and had a really enjoyable family holiday. The location is great, especially if you hire a car — there’s plenty of parking, which made exploring easy. We went all inclusive and the food throughout breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks was very good. There were lots of halal-friendly options too — just speak to the waiters and they’re very helpful they were Syrian and Egyptian which made it feel comfortable and welcoming The hotel is very family-oriented. The kids club, entertainment and dancing activities were excellent for keeping children busy and happy. Although the water park was closed (understandable in January), the indoor pool, gym and indoor activities made up for it. There’s also a small shop/market on site which is convenient. The staff hospitality really stood out — everyone was friendly, polite and always willing to help. Honest note: the rooms and parts of the hotel are a bit outdated and could benefit from refurbishment. However, the balcony view was beautiful — we could catch both sunrise and sunset, which was a highlight. Overall, a warm, welcoming resort that’s great for families, good food, and excellent service. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.
For the price tag of nearly £8000 for a family of 5 for 10 nights in August this year this hotel was “alright”. After reading all the fabulous reviews this is the reason we booked it but it’s not somewhere we will be returning to unfortunately. I felt the hotel was very dated in the lobby , bar areas , corridors and the really small rooms. The food dining area was modern and have to say that Ahmed was always on hand to help and was extremely friendly. The food was okay but even having different themed nights it just all felt the same and by day 6 we had to go and eat out because we couldn’t eat anymore of the same things. The food itself was good but was just repetitive our children aged 10+ couldn’t eat anymore plain pasta , pizza and nuggets. The rooms were a serious let down for us I’ve never stayed in such a small room and also the noise you can hear everything. Really needs an update on them. The entertainment I would say was dire if your children are young it was okay but mine 10,12 and 16 were extremely board. It was always a singer mostly in the evening, we felt for us it was missing some pool tables , maybe an arcade or just something to keep you busy. Pool areas we thought were good luckily the slides kept my children busy most day. Life guards were friendly and on the ball at all times which is brilliant as you don’t always get this at big hotels. Location was good a bus outside the hotel to go too the harbour etc and also waterpark just a ten minute walk up the road. Over all the holiday was good but I expected better as we have stayed in better so for us as a family it didn’t meet our needs but that’s not to say it wouldn’t meet someone else’s. We did a lot too try and entertain our children , we did the ocean vision boat trip which was amazing , paphos zoo which was also really good, the water park was really busy but was good also, the tomb of kings. We also hired a car for 4 days and went to coral bay , the shopping centre , football golf and a few other places as for us the hotel lacked any sort of entertainment and things to do within it. Previous hotels we have stayed in have had bowling alleys , arcades , pool tables, inflatable assault courses in the pool for kids and adults , high rope climbing etc. so maybe this is the reason the Louis Phaethon wasn’t for us.
