We really enjoyed our stay at Pelagos and would definitely return and recommend it. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds are impressive, the pools are excellent, and the staff are extremely kind and helpful.
The kids especially loved the water slides, the daytime and evening activities, and the ice cream area with crepes and Belgian waffles. Even though the hotel was fully booked, we had no problem finding sunbeds. The bar also offered a wide and satisfying selection of drinks and alcohol.
Our room was spacious, the air conditioning worked very well, and the bathroom was excellent, with a separate shower, bathtub, and great water pressure. We had a pool-view room, so there was more noise during the day and in the evening because of the activities, but we actually enjoyed the lively atmosphere.
As for the food, we felt that the all-inclusive buffet could be improved, but the Italian à la carte restaurant was excellent. The Greek à la carte restaurant was reasonable, with a very good rib-eye steak and pancetta.
There are a few areas we believe could be improved: maintenance in some parts of the hotel, Wi-Fi speed, and especially storage space in the rooms. Our wardrobe had basically only one shelf, so much of our clothing stayed in our suitcases throughout the holiday. We would also recommend having better supervision at the top of the water slides and adding a games/arcade or gaming area for children.
The cleanliness was above average, check-in and check-out were smooth and friendly, and both the location and the beach were excellent.
At the end of the day, no hotel is perfect, and we mention these points mainly because it would be a shame for such a beautiful and enjoyable place not to become even better. We had a great time, the kids absolutely loved it, and we are very happy to recommend the hotel.
An absolute beauty of a hotel.
The service of everyone, from the reception, to the bell boys, Waiters, spa and animation team were first class.
Our rooms were upgraded for free to deluxe which really helped us celebrate my husband's birthday.
The most COMFORTABLE bed also. I dont sleep abroad so this is a massive tick in my opinion. Supersoft bedding was like sleeping on a cloud.
The food had less options than other hotels I have stayed in but still a big variety and it was mixed up each night. It is the most I have been able to eat whilst on holiday - delicious! The fresh fish was my favourite.
Spa is worth a visit, of course I booked twice! It is also very reasonably priced.
The hotel is in a good location, right by the beach and a 40 minute walk into Kos Town which was straightforward and didnt feel long at all. Therefore the surrounding area around the hotel was peaceful and private which for your break away from home is ideal.
Very child friendly but also caters to adults by having adults only section.
Thank you to everyone involved in a fantastic stay. Will be recommending to friends and family to come and discover Kos at Pelagos!
We stayed for six days.
Lovely bed, good food, friendly staff
Loved the adult only swimming pool.
There’s enough entertaining by animation team. Evenings were not boring due to mini disco for the kids and entertaining for the adults.
Drinks were fine, Greeks sprits is better than Aperol Sprits.
Seaside is across the street with comfy beds too.
We were welcomed by manager Lena and saluted by Filippos.
9 night stay. Very happy and comfortable.
2 à la carte and 1 buffet restaurant. Pools and Public areas all well maintained though areas outside rooms could be better cleaned. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels etc. Staff lovely. Food okay, always fresh and plentiful. Never felt cramped and no lack of sun beds. Overall lovely easy stay, and in a good location for getting around. Easy access to Kos town etc.
An excellent overall experience. We have been visiting and staying at this hotel for years. The rooms and the facilities are immaculate. Specifically I would like to highlight my experience at the Spa, where I had a full body massage. The girls there, Antigone, Maria, Eleni, and Ifigenia, were excellent and fully accommodated me both times. The experience was that good that I had to go back another massage. If you’re staying at Pelagos, a visit at the Spa is a must.
