We spent 10 wonderful days at Selectum Family Comfort Side with our family, including our two young children, and had an amazing experience.
The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. Traveling with toddlers can be challenging, but the team made our stay comfortable and stress-free.
The resort offers fantastic entertainment for both kids and adults. Our children loved the water park, kids club, mini disco, and amusement park. There was always something fun to do, which made our vacation much more enjoyable.
The food was excellent, with plenty of variety every day. We also visited the Turkish and seafood restaurants, and both were outstanding.
We stayed in the Lake House area and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was beautiful, peaceful, and cozy. Having bars and snack bars throughout the resort was also very convenient.
A special mention goes to the spa and hammam. I enjoyed them almost every day and booked several massages, which were absolutely fantastic and made my vacation even more relaxing.
Thank you to the entire team for creating such wonderful memories for our family. We highly recommend this resort and would happily return in the future!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel last week. It is a fantastic hotel, beautifully located right by the sea, with a great atmosphere and amazing activities for both adults and children.
A special thank you to the Guest Relations Manager ( Miss Takhmina ) who was always attentive to every detail, listened carefully to our requests, and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. We would be happy to come back again!
Disappointing Experience – Selectum Family Comfort
1. Accommodation
The photos displayed on the hotel’s website do not reflect reality at all, neither in terms of room design nor layout.
We booked a room that, according to the description, was supposed to have two separate bedrooms and one bathroom. Instead, we were given a room with only one bed and two armchairs, which could accommodate a maximum of two children, certainly not two additional adults.
The room had serious issues, including mold on the walls, dry and deteriorating wall surfaces, and an unbearable smell. These conditions were completely unacceptable for a hotel advertised as a 5-star property.
We requested a room change because the accommodation provided did not match what we had booked. However, the alternative room offered to us also had visible problems on the walls. I have photographs documenting these issues.
2. Services and Cleanliness
The cleaning service was also disappointing. Housekeeping would arrive around 2 p.m., exactly when guests were trying to rest. This showed little consideration for guests’ comfort and privacy.
Overall, the cleanliness and hygiene standards were poor, and the hotel appeared outdated and insufficiently renovated. The general condition of the property was far below what one would expect from a five-star hotel.
3. Overall Experience
I would not recommend this hotel. Despite being advertised as a five-star property, in my opinion, it offers conditions and services closer to a three-star hotel at best.
The only real advantage is its proximity to the beach. Apart from that, the experience was disappointing, particularly regarding accommodation, hygiene, and overall service quality.
The difference between what is advertised online and what guests actually receive is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not return to this hotel and would not recommend it to other travelers, especially families expecting comfortable, clean accommodation that matches the description provided at the time of booking.
We had a wonderful stay at Selectum Family Comfort Side and were very impressed with the hotel, the beautiful surroundings, the excellent food, and the friendly atmosphere. Everything was well organized, and the staff were always kind, helpful, and welcoming.
A special mention must go to Mr. Izzettin, who is absolutely the best waiter! His professionalism, kindness, positive attitude, and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. He was always smiling, attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed. His exceptional service truly deserves recognition.
Thank you to the entire team at Selectum Family Comfort Side for a fantastic holiday. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff and animation team were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, sometimes even with cute towel animals left as a nice surprise. The gym, garden, and beach area were also spotless and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back!
