we stayed here in April, the place was a great stay, staff friendly and happy to help. Manager would come round various times at the restaurant and would happily chat and remember what nationality you are.
rooms where lovely and spacious, our two daughters loved having their own room where they could chill if they wanted.
whilst we were there we made use of the kids club, the TUI team were great and the kids loved meeting new friends and getting on well with the team.
special thanks to Kubra for translating the doctor when we visited and closing the cap between us and the doctors.
expecting the weather to be a little colder being outside of season, just be aware the big pool was Freezzzing, but doing some of the onsite activities getting hot and bothered, it was refreshing to go down the slides and cool off.
whilst there we did the step aerobics, great fun, even in a middle of a thunder storm.
Family, kids 8 & 11
I'll start with cons as there are not many.
- This hotel is the flagship tui German hotel, so 90% of the guests are German, but the staff and entertainment is a mix of German/Turkish/English so not a problem. Just not many friends for English kids to make, but staff at kids club do good job including everyone and translate.
- Included alcohol and cocktails are all very sweet, struggled to find good drinks included, and I tried them all.
-Rep is just a salesman, did not exactly provide help if it's not getting him a sale on the excursions, and just keep telling us how good tui ones are.
Now the pros.
Pretty much everything else.
The Staff all lovely, the rooms lovely. We had pool view room and could see the sea too which was nice and did not find e could hear entertainment even though we were very close once does shut and air con on..
Entertainment
Most is really good, bit samey, lots of acrobatics and dancers
They do a pool party 9:30pm one night and it's amazing. Get in the pool. It's soo much fun.
Food
Food is restaurant quality, as most reviews, sooo much choice for even fussy eaters, we did not think much of the al a carte restaurant, it was just same as main restaurant but limited options, especially around drinks and not busy.
Bbq restaurant is amazing and beautiful eating on the beach.
Pool
Massive pool and amazing slides, slides look small but actually fast and fun.
Never felt cramped in pool and you get a few adults swimming from 6am.
Sunbeds
People start getting sunbeds around 6:30, but I'm sitting here right now at 8am and still some available right on edge of pool and tons 2nd/3rd row under canopy . And all through the day can always get one somewhere near the pool, there are sooo many.
Trips
Pirate ship. Kids loved this one, the staff on the boat keep them entertained the whole time and it's soo much fun.
Green canyon: the canyon it's self is out of this world, could have spent the whole day there. Unfortunately they take you to a "textile warehouse " first, which is basically a shop setting takes. But really low quality ones at much higher prices than all the ones everywhere else. Don't get scammed by thathat.
Beach
BRING WATER SHOES
Stones on beach and water gets dead quick. After 2 or 3 meters and quite wavy so not good for young ones. A few inflatable in water which are fun. We have not used beach or sea much, maybe 30 mins whole time, but we love pool
Overall wish we knew it would be 90% German guests, but did not change how amazing this holiday was.
Just perfect! We stayed here as a family with our two kids (2 and 4 y) and had an amazing time. The service was outstanding, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the variety of food was impressive. What really stood out to us were the fitness activities aerial yoga, bungee fitness, trampolines, and so much more. There was truly something for everyone in the family. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be coming back soon!
In general it's ok.
From staff especially Sinan Yalçin
at the restaurant,
Can from the reception,
from the upper bar Önder.
Special thanks to them,
and staff from poll bar as well.
Their where very kind and helpful.
They are doing great job at the hotel to make guests stay awesome.
The rest is ok, but some workers look like the are forced to work and look pretty much tired and sleepy whole day during their work.
This hotel is clean, it doesn't looks like is a neglected one, the staff tries to maintenance all the things, but we had some thing and details that should be improved or fixed.
This hotel is not really wide, but pretty long distance when you head to the reception. We received information that some turtles can appear during our daily path from room to the restaurant, no turtles where present unfortunately.
There are some things that need to be improved, but our stay was pleasant in major.
A fantastic hotel! Had a week’s holiday in a group of 10 and would highly recommend.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well spread out so you never feel on top of others. We arrived very late and were greeted by lovely staff, drinks and snacks at the welcome bar. We had a family room which was huge - two separate bedrooms and a bathroom, all beautifully appointed. Air conditioning was perfect and we had a ground floor terrace overlooking the gardens. It was so quiet at night - only the chirping of the birds and the call to prayer in the mornings!
In terms of activities, there’s giant chess and crazy golf, fitness suite, darts, shops, a great bar, auditorium for shows, top deck where bands play and they did karaoke one night! During the day, there is so much to experience including fitness classes, language classes, cookery experiences and sports. We loved Zumba, volleyball, aqua fit and the parasailing.
The food is the best we’ve had at an all inclusive…grilled Turkish meats, fabulous salads and dips, traditional breads but also more Mediterranean dishes like risottos and pastas. They had a dedicated chef’s station where they prepared dishes for you. Breakfast was varied too!
The staff are an absolute credit to the place - friendly, helpful and efficient! I loved how they encouraged us to learn some Turkish too! Big shout out to the staff at both bars and Hakam, Sefa and Muhammet in the buffet. The staff in the à la carte made a big fuss of my husband on his birthday! The BBQ beach restaurant was also a stand out and the staff there were so friendly! And our lovely cleaner Emine!
The pool is beautiful and even though we went at half-term, it never felt overcrowded. You had to get us adults off the slides - they were so much fun! Plenty of sunbeds too! There is a jetty off the beach to jump into the sea and a couple of inflatables for kids too.
The only slight drawback is there isn’t much around the hotel to walk to. However, the local dolmus buses take you straight to Managvat and Side.
We would definitely return - thanks to everyone for making our week so special!
Manavgat Waterfall on the Manavgat River is near the city of Side, 3 km (2 mi) north of Manavgat, Turkey. Its high flow over a wide area as it falls from a low height is best viewed from a high altitude. The white, foaming water of the Manavgat Waterfalls flows powerfully over the rocks.
