With such great potential, this hotel is in a very sad condition. Although the staff is quite friendly and will help with any questions, this hotel does not look well-groomed. The buildings need renovation. The territory is greened, but dirty. The beach is generally in terrible condition, no one cleans it, the sunbeds are outdated and need updating. Be sure to buy aqua shoes for entering the sea. For me, the delicious cuisine was a big plus, but there are also negative nuances. For example, coffee was only from a thermos, the taste is not very high quality. If a dish runs out, it is unlikely to be renewed by the end of lunch or dinner. In conclusion, I cannot say that the price corresponds to the quality, this hotel lacks care
Perhaps the best way to describe this hotel is simply "average." The location, natural surroundings, and swimming pool are excellent. However, the rooms and furniture are quite outdated—I honestly felt like I had stepped back into the 1980s. The breakfast is quite satisfying for a three-star hotel. The air conditioning works well, but the cleanliness could be better. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those who don't expect too much for the price they pay.
We were transferred to this hotel because we were told our original hotel was overbooked. The rooms were old but quite adequate; the buffet breakfast and buffet dinner were also quite sufficient and good. We used the hotel's van to get to Molyvos. The lady at reception was very kind and sweet, she addressed all my concerns, and it was a pleasure to talk with her.
Relaxing Stay at Viva Mare Hotel – 8/10
We had a really pleasant stay at Viva Mare on Lesvos. The location is absolutely amazing — set in a beautiful environment with stunning views. The hotel grounds are well-kept and very clean, which really added to the overall experience.
The rooms are on the older side, but they’re clean and perfectly sufficient, especially for travelers who aren’t expecting luxury. Daily housekeeping was a big plus. The beach could use some improvement, though — a bit more attention there would go a long way.
Food was tasty even with a smaller selection, and although there could have been a bit more variety in fruit, we always left satisfied. When it comes to drinks and alcohol, don’t expect too much — but we never went thirsty!
What really stood out was the friendly and caring staff. Always smiling, always helpful. When I had an accident on a scooter, everyone was genuinely concerned and did everything they could to help me. That kind of support made all the difference.
Service was really good, polite and really helpful to all the things we asked.room was clean and every day was cleaned.view is excellent.pools were in good condition.also the sea is near.breakfeast was also good, only needed to add some coffee machine maybe
