The service of this hotel was amazing!
We spent 5 days here and we felt like it wasn’t long enough.
The 1 bedroom apartment was massive and so clean, housekeeping was brilliant.
The food was in the restaurant was always delicious and had a good variety. There was always a couple of meat/fish mains and so many salads! We loved that the foods were always fresh by keeping the portions smaller but were always refilled quickly.
The pools were lovely and plenty of space by either pool.
Maria and all the staff from the restaurant were so lovely and friendly.
They have a private hotel shuttle bus daily taking you into Albufeira Old town and Falésia beach which is a lovely touch.
We loved our stay here and will definitely come back again with friends and family.
We had a brilliant holiday here and loved staying at the hotel. The accommodation is all apartments which were really spacious and kept immaculately clean. The hotel had a real mix of families, couples and groups and everyone got on really well. The staff at the hotel were amazing and really went the extra mile to take care of us. We went with out 5 month old baby and felt very well looked after.
We went for the all inclusive which was great. The food was generally very good, particularly the salads and vegetables, pizza, but perhaps not as much choice as some more premium hotels However it felt like very good value for money. My only minor feedback would be the coffee at the hotel wasn't great.. but almost everything else was great.
The overall experience and first impression was good for a 4-star hotel - however it got totally disgraced when it came to handle one of the most basic things: taking a shower at the apartment.
We stayed there 5 nights on the all-inclusive tariff, from Jun 28 to Jul 03. Our apartment was on the first floor, in one of the edges of the building (108 if I recall correctly), with one large bedroom and the kids were sleeping on the bed-sofa.
The experience was being nice for our family (2 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby) until the moment we decided to take a shower, after a day at the pool before go to dinner. Only my wife, a kid and the baby got warm water. My boy already got the water getting cold and for me was simply impossible to take a shower. When we called the reception, they sent us the maintenance guy and he explained us that that apartment only got a reservoir of 60l of hot water (?!). Not even at my house the hot water boiler is so small - I have a 270l at home! So, we were paying ~280,00€/night to get less service than I have at home!
We got really pissed of and went to talk with the reception...that's when I got even more pissed of, because they told me that 60l of hot water is enough for that apartment. However, they were sorry for the situation and moved us to another apartment (217) and they explained us that the rooms on the edge of the building don't have link with the main central water boiler (with huge capacity), so that's why they got those small water boilers. I explained that when I saw the water boiler in the kitchen, I could never imagined that it was for bath - I thought it was just to serve the kitchen due to its small size.
I explained them as well that someone really did a huge mistake when assigning that room to us - 12l average for 5 people, when there are two females with long hair it's an absurd. I came on vacation to relax, not to do a time-attack competition every time we go for shower.
The new apartment was already linked to the central water boiler and we no longer got the issue.
They claimed that we were compensated by going to a bigger apartment, but I didn't fell like it, because the initial one was enough regarding size and I didn't need more, because we got the all-inclusive and we spent time on the apartment just for two basic things:
- take a shower
- sleep
Unfortunately this really ruined it, because it was so frustrating to lose 1 night because we had to handle this and still move to a new apartment in the middle of the evening, while everyone was partying with live music.
We had the most wonderful stay at the patio hotel.
The rooms were brilliant, we had a suite which was large, had a fully equipped separate kitchen and a large bedroom.
The staff were brilliant, so welcoming and so child friendly. Always had a smile.
The food was great, lots of variety and really delicious.
The pool was lovely.
Would highly recommend this hotel!
Stayed here with my 2 year old on a solo trip for 1 week. Food selection was great, staff were amazing and the rooms were perfect! Took washing up liquid etc with me so I didn’t have to buy abroad- they had w. Liquid and sponge/cloth available with plenty of cooking utensils. I didn’t cook though but used the oven to reheat food. They allowed me to have takeout boxes from the buffet which is rare in most hotels! This allowed me to still be able to eat when my child is overwhelmed and I need to leave. Melissa and Tomas were brilliant in kids club and such a great space for kids! My child enjoyed Tom’s company for sure! I usually like to try out new hotels but I think I will be back! All the waiting staff, chefs everyone was lovely and supportive especially when my toddler is doing typical toddler things! Id probably pay for pool view next time as we had the back room which only shows the carpark and it can get a little noisy and obviously not a nice view but thats the only con. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! I appreciate everything!
