We had a wonderful stay at Alba Queen Hotel. The hotel is located just a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach, which made every day very convenient and relaxing. The food was varied and delicious, with plenty of different dishes to choose from every day, so everyone could find something they liked. The waiters and the entire hotel staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their positive attitude made us feel truly comfortable throughout our stay. A special thank you goes to the animation team. They work incredibly hard every day to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for both children and adults. Their energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism make a huge difference and ensure that guests have a fantastic time.
Old, run down, dirty rooms. We were given another room, but it wasn't much better either. The property is too small, and the pool area is way too cramped. Location is good and the beach is okay. Most of the staff members are friendly but that not going to save this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.
I just spent a week at this hotel, got back Wednesday 18th, I don’t usually write reviews unless iv something iv to discuss. But iv started writing reviews when I have enjoyed myself, I agree with the majority of reviews. The hotel deffo is catered for Germans. Which is a shame, because I found they are very demanding and very rude. One of the staff members disclosed it was because they tip more. But, overall. Food was great, something for everyone. I ate a lot of food I didn’t even know what it was but turns out it was pretty good, deserts, brilliant! Don’t have a sweet tooth but I did the week I was here. Staff are lovely, always willing to help, catering staff in the restaurant are brilliant. The hotel itself is clean. Pool is lovely. Inside pool is fab. I found the lifeguards go above and beyond for children turning the slides off and on when children was on them. Pool area is a nice atmosphere. Rooms are clean was very surprised how much your rooms was actually like the photos. The snack options for children and adult adults in the daytime is absolutely fantastic. Loved the late food. Love the fact cleaners use Hoovers to do your rooms. I’ve literally only gave it four stars because of the entertainment not being catered for everybody.
We are here now !!! Welcoming ,very clean , lovely room, lovely staff lovely varied food !!! Can't fault it will highly recommend it and we will be back ! The only issue we have is the cleaner on our floor she dos a marvellous job not that we have her in much but pesters for a tip every day telling us she finished unfortunately I've had the flu for a week so have spent the last week in the room and even though we have the light on red she still comes in saying finish finish my partner went to get some water and he said no ty to cleaning so she chased him down the stairs saying finish finish she's been saying it for 2 weeks a little annoying !!! We always tip at the end of our stay as we don't expect preferential service but sorry lady you've missed out leave people alone !!! Ty you to all the staff : reception waiters bar staff animation chefs and cleaners (bar 1) for making our stay very pleasurable!!!
I stayed at this hotel during New Year’s Eve, and the experience did not reflect its advertised 5-star rating. The conditions and facilities are well below what is expected at this level. Additionally, the extra activities and entertainment are clearly tailored almost exclusively to German guests. While I understand that many visitors come from Germany, other guests feel left out, as staff communication, shows, and game nights are conducted only in German. Overall, the hotel’s rating does not align with the service and experience provided.
