"This is so holiday", is how my son described the resort once we arrived there. Everything about this place works for us- we'd definitely come back. The setting is idilic, the beaches are fun (rocky but great), the pool is nice, the dining hall overlooks the sea and it is all set in a pine forest. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the hotel is relaxed about everything. Free beach loungers included. It's so holiday here.
A wonderful place. Good value for the price. I can’t really find anything to complain about after a 6-day stay. The only issue was a slight smell in the room, but that’s not the hotel’s fault—it’s down to some inconsiderate previous guests.
Very disappointing experience
We have been coming to this hotel for years, ever since it was renovated, and unfortunately this is by far our worst experience.
We are travelling with a baby, and the only entrance suitable for strollers to the restaurant is locked, with no other convenient access. Several sockets in our room don’t work, the towels are grey and look dirty, and the carpet is stained.
For a 4-star hotel, especially at the price we paid, this is simply not acceptable.
What makes it even more disappointing is that we know this hotel well and have always had a much better experience in previous years. Sadly, the standard has clearly dropped.
My experience of this hotel is poor. This is not a 4 star hotel by no means. If you don’t care about hygiene, food quality and a general pleasant stay then this place would be fine for you. It seemed like every staff member was working there for the first time, no body really knew anything when asked a question. There was no communication between restaurant and hotel reception. For example to pay for lunch that was not included in our package was a major deal for them and caused alot of issues and as the guest I was walked back and forth from the restaurant to the reception to sort it. The rooms are just ok nothing as nice as the photos and much smaller. The hotel in general is nothing like the photos. Even the seats in the restaurant are completely stained. A lot of the carpet in the room was stained. Drinks in the bar overpriced. The only positive of this hotel is the location and when you leave the hotel to sit as the sea its amazing and beautiful but the hotel itself is so poor. It’s expensive to get there and leave in taxis.
This resort is labelled 4 star by Secret Escapes.
Hotel in need of modernisation, organisation & better service. Reception is rude. Rooms are not cleaned or beds made up never mind changing sheets/pillow cases.
Bathroom not cleaned.
Amenities such as crazy golf is disused as are the table tennis tables.
Food is not any better.
We booked half board & are spending our evening meal eating in Vrboska. 25 minutes walk away.
The only asset is the clear sea.
If you are expecting 4 star service. Forget it. You will be disappointed
