Our stay at Barceló Royal Beach was absolutely fantastic, and we will definitely be coming back!
Everything exceeded our expectations. The pools are beautiful, clean, and well maintained, the food is delicious with a great variety every day, and the rooms are comfortable and spotless. The entertainment team does an amazing job, offering fun activities for both adults and children throughout the day and wonderful evening shows.
A very special thank you to Todor, who is an outstanding Guest Manager. He is professional, kind, approachable, and always makes guests feel welcome and valued. On top of that, his evening show is absolutely spectacular! He is an incredibly talented entertainer with amazing energy and charisma, creating an unforgettable atmosphere every night.
We would also like to compliment all the managers and the entire hotel team for their professionalism, dedication, and excellent organization. It is clear that they genuinely care about their guests and work hard to make every stay perfect.
Thank you to everyone at Barceló Royal Beach for making our holiday so special. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for the third time!
Our stay at the Barceló Royal Beach in Sunny Beach was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—everyone was so warm, professional, and attentive to our needs.
The food was excellent, with a wonderful variety of delicious options for every meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails at the bar, which were expertly made and perfect for relaxing by the pool.
To top it all off, we had incredible massages at the spa. My wife had hers with Maria, and mine was with Vika, and we both felt completely rejuvenated. This hotel is truly excellent!
We had an absolutely wonderful 7-night stay. The beautiful weather certainly helped, but the hotel itself and, especially, the staff made our experience truly memorable.
I can only give them a well-deserved 10 out of 10. Everything was handled with professionalism, attention, and genuine care for the guests.
A special mention goes to the manager, Todor, a true professional who clearly understands the hospitality industry and knows how to make guests feel welcome and well looked after.
Everything exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic holiday and would gladly return. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The hotel delivers a consistently high standard, combining comfort with a well‑considered dining experience. The food offering is particularly commendable, the menu provides a broad and thoughtfully curated selection, ensuring that vegetarians, fish eaters, and those who enjoy lamb dishes all have ample choice. The variety reflects an attention to diverse dietary preferences rather than a token gesture.
Within the all‑inclusive package, the alcoholic beverages are predominantly Bulgarian. While the local liquor may not rival premium international brands, and the beer is serviceable rather than exceptional, these are minor footnotes in an otherwise positive experience. The overall quality of the hotel, from its amenities to its culinary range, makes it a strong and reliable choice for a comfortable stay.
Location is just 5 mins across the beach but not directly to the beach.
Rooms can do with the upgrade, but local staffs attitude makes it worth it.
You will need to rent a bench and a rolly if you desire or just spread your towel. Beach is sandy.
Vegetable dishes are impressive, chefs do put a lot of effort in creations, mainly roasted. Their cuisine has passed my expectations, and they have served best dishes I have had so far.
And to the hotel management if you read it- you don't need 26 screens of 25" teles in the sports bar, at the max you need 4 of larger size screens, (55-65 or maybe larger, use your imagination).
Keep it up though, there is always a room for improvement..
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel; I would say 3 stars would be a more accurate rating. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is old and damaged in several places. It is certainly not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel.
Although this is an all-inclusive resort, we were told at reception that there was no drinking water provided in the room and that we could simply drink tap water. The minibar was completely empty—not even a single bottle of water.
The swimming pools closed at 6:00 p.m., the bars closed at 11:00 p.m., and the children’s playground closed at 5:30 p.m. I suppose that after those hours children are expected to go to bed, because there were no activities available, even though you’re on holiday.
The food was decent, but not very varied. Breakfast, in particular, was exactly the same for all six days of our stay.
Based on our experience, I would definitely not return for a second visit.
Considering the photos you’ve attached (showing stained bathrobes and visible wear and rust in the bathroom), you could also add:
The overall cleanliness and maintenance were disappointing. The bathrobes provided were stained, and several areas of the bathroom showed visible rust and signs of poor maintenance. These are not the standards you would expect from a hotel advertising itself as 5 stars. They don’t have a private beach.
