Stay away from this place. The most horrible experience in Hungary. Food is unacceptable. Hotel does not respect customers complaints. They know better what is ok. Sounds like a impudent joke. They keep quality of the 1980’s.
The service was good. Our first room smelled like smoke, but the staff quickly gave us a bigger one, which was nice. The room was large, with a huge bathroom. However, it had no kettle or coffee machine. It also faced the central AC units, which were very loud at times, even at night. Breakfast was okay, not many pastries, but they were good quality. The location was fine, easy to park and close to a nice park. Internet was slow. Overall, an okay stay.
Not recommended this 4 stars hotel, is bad smell in the hotel and unprofessional staff, racist aura if you're foreign and unwelcome big boss who's following you in the breakfast area and check everything you eat and drink, bad wellness and spa timetable and hidden fees on everything you buy(also car park is not free) they will tell you is free but on check out you ll be charge and cannot do nothing about it! Very sorry about this trip and thank you Bastya Hotel and staff for ruined my holiday!
I am from Brighton, the United Kingdom. The Hotel is amazing, situated in an idyllic place, the closest accommodation to the Cave Bath. The wellness area of the hotel is exquisite, we enjoyed ourselves like in heaven. The food tasted like at home. The staff is very polite, kind and always happy to help. Highly recommended, A+++ service! Thank you so very much!
Pros: -Great Location -Staff is nice and helpfully -The Spa is super cool especially the steam room and the saunas -The rooms are nice and bright with huge balcony(superior) Cons: -Almost no amenities were provided (only shower cap) -No smoking rooms , even can’t smoke on the balcony -No “halal or kosher” options in the breakfast or dinner menu Summary: For a 4* hotel it is great we enjoyed every moment there. Highly recommended.
