Very good

Just back from a 7 night stay at the Blue Marine. A slightly bemusing layout which takes some getting use to (not immediately obvious from being dropped off on the street how best to get into the lobby). The communal areas were all spacious, bright and clean - the reception staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The lifts are slightly inadequate and also still needed to navigate stairs with the suitcases to get to the room. The room itself (pictured) was beautiful and incredibly spacious, really appreciated the separate seating area and a nice balcony area with sea views (not that you have many hours of sun being east facing). Lovely rainwater shower, nice smelling toiletries, mini bar fridge stocked with complimentary drinks and bottled water daily. During our stay there was a hotel-wide issue with the air conditioning, meaning the room was 24 degrees at night and not very comfortable - we also had 2/3 days of no hot water. Additionally we did have an issue with the shower not draining, but this was quickly resolved after speaking with reception. The buffet restaurant was large, bright and spacious with various areas to sit - the food was consistently nice with some really enjoyable offerings in an evening, there were a few times were meat wasn't cooked through but I acknowledge the rush to refill serving trays with the volume of guests. I would also say the dessert options were very impressive. All the staff were attentive, friendly and efficient who clearly work tirelessly to provide for the guests. We had 3 a la carte bookings as part of the stay, all with great service and food - with sea views from the outdoor terraces. We also made use of the Creperie on a couple of occasions which had a nice selection of both sweet and savoury treats. The quality / brands of the soft drinks is not what I'd hope for in an all-inclusive result and this also resulted in the quality of the cocktails being disappointing too (some of the drinks were fairly unpleasant to drink). We didn't partake any of the live entertainment or use the spa facilities, so no comment on those - although the indoor pool and spa area looked nice from what we saw. Overall, a lovely hotel (with not the best weather, but this cannot be helped) and again all the staff were fantastic, lovely views of the mountains, sea and Agios Nikolaos in the distance - but for a better rating would mean a better quality of drinks. Not a place I would wish to stay at again, but likewise not a place I would tell people not to visit for themselves.

An absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The breathtaking views, spotless rooms, and beautifully maintained outdoor areas created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. The food was outstanding, with a great variety and exceptional quality, while the service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. The kids' club deserves special praise—it offers an amazing range of activities, and the staff make every child feel welcome and happy. This is truly one of the best hotels we have ever visited. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect vacation!

Love this place This was our second time staying. Good food, service, amazing views and a relaxed environment. Great beach and lovely bay to swim in. Beautiful clear water Swimming pool clean and good size. Both have good bars with snacks available all day if you don't want to go to the restaurant Beautifully clean room everyday. I didn't lift a finger for our whole stay. Next beach along has a lovely cocktail bar, restaurants and shop if you want a change of scenery. Walkable in 15 minutes. A short drive/taxi to the local town of Agios Nikolaos. Good shops and restaurants and some great boat trips from there.

There is a nice beach owned by the hotel across the road from the hotel. Has a drinks bar and snack bar with good beds and calm clear water. The main restaurant was a bit hit and miss for brits, menus were aimed more toward European guests. Friendly staff throughout.

We had a wonderful and unforgettable stay. The views are truly idyllic and unique, and the hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Overall, a fantastic and very family-friendly five-star hotel that we highly recommend.
