I came for just one night, but my stay was perfect for that short period. The reception staff accommodated me with a room at 12:30, even though the hotel was very busy. The room was spotless, a bit small, but had all the necessary amenities. The food was phenomenal, and the outdoor bar was fantastic. The bartender made me a great Manhattan. Interestingly, most of the staff were from the UK. Overall, I had a wonderful time and am planning to bring my family back to the hotel.
We waited for half an hour for service. Then a waitress with brown long hair approached and in a very rude tone said smoking on open tarace is not allowed. And did not even ask what we want for drink. And there was no sign about smoking. First time we experienced something like that on Adriatic coast. I would not recommend this hotel.
We got a good deal in off season. Rooms are nice and comfortable with a lovely view! I booked the hotel for the 50m lap pool. Due to the time of year it was only filled on the last days and too cold to swim laps in! Gym is handy and large. Breakfast is ok.. it would have been nice for more fruit at breakfast. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful besides one we encountered on reception who was quite rude. We guess a great destination for climbers and hikers!
Value for the money, spacious and tidy family room. The pool is also big, there are also two smaller ones. Friendly staff, great food, especially if you can enjoy it during the summer on a terrace surrounded by mediterranean trees. The beach bar is also very pleasant. Great hotel, whether you stay there for a summer vacation or you are more interested in hiking and climbing on Velebit and Paklenica National park.
In short - I do recommend this hotel. We came as a huge group, working together with a hotel staff in the hotel reception we managed to distribute the room cards and explain the people where to go. The amenities were great. We had to leave early and they provided wonderfull breakfast packages for the whole group. I really recommend this hotel. The location is amazing. There is an old tower while walking from hotel along the shore. Service like I said is splendid. Can't compare to another hotels. Really profesional and helpfull. They helped us with all the minor issue's and problems. Can't thank enough.
