The start of our stay was good. Jorge at the reception is a very friendly guy who gave us al the information de needed.
The hotel itself was good. The buffet was ok, nothing really special.
Wifi worked great and the room itself was clean and had everything we needed.
But there were some things we really didn’t like. Some of the staff was so rude, especially Montse at the restaurant. We avoided being served by her.
The biggest problem was that there was a mouse in our room. We were not scared, but the little animal ran over us while we were sleeping and of course, we didn’t want that. We told reception and they quite frankly laughed at us, they didn’t understand why we would make a fuzz about such a small problem. Again: we were very calm and understanding.
2 men came into our room and just smashed it dead and showed us the dead mouse. Honestly, horrible experience.
The main problem wasn’t the hotel, it was the staff making fun of us and being unkind. We are a queer couple who were looking for a safe place to stay, but we won’t be coming back here.
We booked last minute through Jet2 and didn't know what to expect as never been to Gran Canaria before. The hotel is lovely with its sun terraces on different levels and 3 separate pool areas.
Service and staff have been amazing. Arinegua and Evelyn were very hospitable in the Unique Lounge. Definitely worth upgrading.
The only down side was our room. Very spacious and perfect for our stay. But very tired and furniture damaged. The bathroom needs a good clean and redec. Paintwork grubby so it made the room feel dirty.
However, the rest of the place is lovely and definitely worth staying. The rock band The Dukes played last night and they were fab and had the whole place engaged.
Well done everyone at this hotel.
We’re really enjoying our stay at Corallium Dunamar so far. The food is fresh and varied every day, with plenty of choice. Even in high season, the pools never feel overcrowded, which is a big plus.
A special thank you to Tara Lopez in the main restaurant for the complimentary drink and the warm, friendly service. The staff throughout the hotel are always attentive and make you feel welcome.
This is definitely one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Gran Canaria, and we’d happily come back.
The service in the bars is excellent. Particular mention of Bar La Sal, Yanana, Aniegua, Erika, Cacina and the lovely Ruben. Sara in the the Coral bar and all the lovely staff in the Nero bar. We stayed on a basic all inclusive package but it was more than enough for us and we were made to feel very welcome. Only issue was lack of labels in the restuarant..I don't eat beef or pork but a lady at reception gave me a card to show to the serving staff so problem solved..also the towels in the bedroom very small and thin...a sustainable hotel but all guests have to buy water in plastic bottles as only available when the bars and restuarants open and not allowed to fill up reusable bottles..location is the best and views incredible
Nice hotel. Great staff! Rooms dated with little storage for one side of the bed. No sideboard for ladies to sit and do make up etc. Mega small balcony. Food was very repetitive with chicken fish pork al.ost every night. Catered more for the Dutch, German and Spanish guests. If you have mobility issues beware. Steps everywhere. They do have adapted rooms for wheelchairs but I found the lifts to be very small and as such for the first time in years my mobility scooter would not fit additionally this also means you cant get between floors or gain access at the rear of the hotel. Claudio was great and tried to do everything to help but even my reserved table was ignored and staff did t seem to care. So a guest issue not hotel.. nice rooms, nice restaurant, some live music and very very close to the beach and bars. On tje whole a nice place that needs some tlc and an upgrade for thise with mobility issues as we all get older and many are not so fit as we were..last issue, steps in to.the pool.are.too big then tje disabled toilet is as far fro the pool as you can get, including the disabled ones, not ideal.
