Poor service, everything takes way too long to arrive after order, most times the order is incorrect, and they try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Only truly inclusive items were the buffet and drinks (but they don't offer many of the requested drinks, such as shots at certain bars and what not). The power was out for about 6-7 hours one day, where we were unable to utilize many of the ammenities. I was expecting a partial refund for this, but nothing was granted. There was also no communication about the outage, leaving us all in the dark (literally and figuratively...). Cleaning services were poor, and they never replenished any of the snacks and coffee items. They also took our beach towels after the first day and never returned any. Every in-room dining request was 20 euros, and they limited what we could order since "it comes to us on a cart". The only good service was from the bell hops who were very helpful getting us and our bags to the room, though we did wait about 30 minutes for one upon our initial arrival. Restaurant dining services were also decent, most of the time, but still very hit or miss on whether we received the requested drink items. Beautiful hotel, though, and the food/ were good. This was over twice as expensive as any hotel we have booked on our 23 day europe trip, and was by far the worst service. I won’t be coming back.
We had a wonderful stay at Ella Alkyna and would happily return. The location is one of the hotel’s greatest assets. The sea views are stunning and, remarkably, can be enjoyed from almost every part of the property. Whether from the room, the pool area, the restaurants or down by the sea, the setting creates a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is newly renovated, impeccably maintained and thoughtfully designed. Our room was stylish yet practical, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were also plenty of sun loungers available both by the sea and around the pool, which made it easy to find a spot even during busier periods. The service was consistently professional and attentive. The team was quick to respond to requests and always made us feel well looked after, without ever being intrusive. We particularly enjoyed the à la carte dining. The Fusion Restaurant by the pool was a highlight, with very good Asian cuisine and genuinely attentive service. The buffet restaurant is also worth mentioning, offering a varied selection of fresh dishes alongside freshly prepared grilled and fried options. What we appreciated most was the combination of the spectacular setting, contemporary design, thoughtful service and relaxed atmosphere. Everything came together to make the stay feel effortless and enjoyable. We very much enjoyed our time at Ella Alkyna and will definitely return for another holiday in Corfu.
We stayed in the Ella Alkyna hotel for a week at the beginning of August for our honeymoon. The hotel was in an excellent position next to the sea on the west side of the island. Food was excellent and plenty of choice throughout our stay. Rooms were lovely but maybe a bit on the small size and we were surprised with a bottle of fizz and some fruits on our arrival which was a nice touch. Guest services were helpful and it was good the hotel were able to offer transfers to Corfu town for a cost. The pool areas were nice and overlooked the beautiful sea. It was lovely to have the option to stay by the pool or grab a sun lounger on the sea front. Loungers were hard to find if you came out later than 9am and there was a stench of raw sewage next to the pool on the final 2 days of our stay. The range of drinks and snacks available during the day was great however there was often a wait for the bar due to queues during peak holiday season. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Corfu.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel and place! We did love everything there starts from room, service, location, food, cocktails, beach. Everything!!!! Thank you If you go further through a beach, you may reach wild beach which looks like in Thailand. We went to a city center in the last day by taxi €45. If you want a perfect vacation, go there 100%.
Stayed for 7 days, had a great time. Beach is nice, has enough sunbeds, bars and srinks everywhere. Food at buffet was great, staff is super friendly and nice. Rooms are nice, had beautiful sea view in ours, like the concept of bathroom areangement. Few negative things, food at Satuomi restaurant was not very good, ramen soup is little tasteless. Sun shades and umbrellas at beach are not adjustable. Our fridge did not work in the room, but to be fair, we didnt need it because we had bar close to room. Very happy with resort, if i have chance, will come again, or even visit other resort from chain. One more thing to all reading, dont look about negative reviews about food, food is great and choice is very big!
