As a parent of 3 toddlers I really expected the hotel to be more adjusted to the needs of small kids and their parents. There are no sinks or toilets on kids level, even in the kids playroom, which is a must for me. Also - noise. Noise everywhere. When you finally put kids to bed, there is more noise from evening activities and almost no place to enjoy some peace. I would also appreciate some food, even a snack, available after 21. Entertainment activities are so loud my kids did not want to take part. Baby pool is more a weird fountain than a pool and so far away from main pool area, that it just makes no sense to use it. There is a great view on the sunset but unfortunately loud events in the center of the hotel will not allow you to enjoy it. Beach is very small and quite dirty. Main pools would use some robot cleaning in the evening as they are full of algae. Good points were the staff- helpful, nice, professional. Entertainment team was doing a nice job. Meals were ok and rooms were fine. I will not come back there though.
We had a wonderful stay at Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes every day. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and the entire staff made us feel welcome. We spent a fantastic time there with our children. The entertainment team did an amazing job – there were plenty of fun games and activities for kids throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors. Every evening ended with a wonderful mini disco, which our children absolutely loved. They were excited every single day! We highly recommend this hotel to families with children. It offers the perfect combination of relaxation for parents and endless fun for kids. We would be happy to come back!
The stay at Falkensteiner was just perfect. Plenty of food varieties, ideal for every taste. In between breakfast and lunch but also in between lunch and dinner there were some snacks like pizza and salads. Stuff was just perfect, coffee just first class but drinks too. Infrastructure was ideal. There are activities for kids so parents could enjoy vacation but also additional service in the spa are available. Definitively a must stay and book the all in package. Just 5 minutes from down town where you could walk and side-see the city. Top class package and service.
Given 2 stars due to the safety around pool, cracked stones, broken parasols and shabby sunbeds. Lifeguard on phone 99% of the day, not looked at pool once. Drinks are horrible-beer watered down, cocktails on tap pre gross and wine is like vinegar-so disappointing. Lunch was disappointing, hot food, no cheeses or meats out for lunch. Not everyone wants a hot meal at lunch. Staff were nit particularly friendly or welcoming. Given 5 stars for our room as had family suite and it was huge! Massive balcony, wish I could have stayed in there all day.
Just arrived back from our trip and wanted to share my special appreciation to the entertainer team: Katarina, Laura, Tamara, Patrik and Advance and their team leader Drago (if I remember correctly). They pay special attention to all kids, always have a kind smile for every one of them. They are working and praticing hard ever day to deliver great shows, dances and games for the kids. On the side note, location and hotel was great, even though I think its a bit overpriced. There is one suggestion I would like to make - and made it to the reception upon check out - is the usage of bracelets. I was constantly stopped and asked where the bracelet was, which I never liked wearing. I suggest to the management to come up with different solution, as I'm probably not the only one who does not like wearing things like that. So have an option for a unique tattoo or something, your guests would accept and you could instantly see, if the person is a guest of yours or not. Other than that we had a great time and hopefully come back again. Thank you again, entertainment team. I'm really greatful
