I only went to the pool and sauna area, so I can't say anything about the hotel and the rooms. Pool is nice, not to big with a small outside pool. 2 jacuzzi/whirlpool which are very warm. Kids pool. A small "restaurant" area for a drink and a meal. In general it is all clean, but old. Same goes for the sauna area, old but okay, sauna area is separated from the normal pools. You pay extra for this. They have 2 dry sauna's, 3 steamsaunas, an ice-room, a small relax pool to chill, and a cool off pool/bath and 2 shower places with multiple showers. Relax area with beds are available. They offer a small program with "aufguss". The wood in the sauna is old and the temperatures are not very constant. A little renovation would be nice. For a few hours and the average hotel guest this is sufficient.
Travelled to more than 60 countries and stayed in countless hotels, from 5 stars resorts to grandmas bed and breakfast, and this is the only hotel that has charged me for a baby crib: (15 eur /night). Will update this review if this ridiculous rule is revoked for everyone in the future.

The hotel is a perfect place to enjoy some days in a lovely environment. The staff is kind and friendly, the lobby and the common areas are clean and quiet. The food is delicious and there are a lot of options to choose having half board meal plan. The room (324) was convenient although we found the bin not emptied in the bathroom when we arrived. Also the cosmetic mirror in the bathroom was out of order.
Lovely hotel reception and friendly staff, entering the lobby truly gives you a great first impression. The rest of our experience, however, wasn't as first class as anticipated. We came here for our annual summer holiday with mom and a nine year old. We have been quite disappointed with the room which needs refurbishing, especially the furniture. The child's bed, which was pulled out from the sofa, was just about ok for my son despite the fact that he's slim. The air conditioning was not working properly, it was making noise, but hardly cooling the air. The bathroom was nice and spacious, but the sink kept getting blocked. We asked the reception to fix these issues, they said they would, but there were no visible results. The restaurant food was average, especially at dinner time. Not many options for vegetarians and no suitable labeling of which foods are fully vegetarian. No allergen labeling either. There was a good variety of different dishes though. Not much animation for children. There is an animation room, but suitable more for younger kids. No live music or entertainment in the evening and given this is not a seaside resort and not located in an area with lots of entertainment around, evenings can be boring. Good variety of wellness services, great indoor pool and amazing thermal park with awesome slides. Overall a good hotel, but needs a lot of improvement.
