Me and my gf spent a week there.
Pros- great location, just of the main roads but not too far, pool and slides are good fun and always plenty of food. The food was a solid 9/10 sometimes too much choice 😅
Cons- as always sun bed wars, all gone by breakfast, the hotel is slightly dated compared to the modern ones else where but doesnt impact on the stay really.and if you have a late flight, have your own food as we arrived at 1am and not eaten and there was no food on offer or anything in our room.,unlike other hotels.
Great stay woukd go again
Had a good week at Grand Pasa. Bit of a walk to beach. Food good , wide choice, always a curry. Room was clean and welcoming with Towel sculptures. Recommend paying extra for TV channels.
Holiday spoilt by hotel opposite. Rave music from 10 until 5pm around there pool. Spoke to our reception but did nothing. Took it on myself to go into their Hotel and spoke to DJ who turned the volume down for that afternoon, but next day up to to previous volume. Couldn't sit on our balcony because music too loud.
⭐️⭐️
Very disappointing experience for a hotel advertised as 5-star.
Unfortunately, the food and beverage standards throughout our stay have been far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
The buffet food is repeatedly served cold, sometimes even when the buffet first opens, despite being placed under heat lamps. The dishes are also very repetitive, with very little variety from one day to the next. The desserts appear to be mostly frozen or pre-prepared products and are extremely sugary.
The overall drinks service is also disappointing. Coffee is only available from an automatic machine, soft drinks come from machines, and the alcoholic drinks are very basic. Even drinking water requires guests to help themselves from a refrigerator. Service is also unnecessarily slow.
I have worked as a head chef for 23 years, so I am very familiar with professional food quality, food temperatures, kitchen standards and catering service. My comments are therefore not simply a matter of personal taste.
For a holiday costing around £1,600 and a hotel advertised as 5-star, I expected a considerably higher standard of food, service and hospitality.
Very disappointing and, in my opinion, nowhere near the standard I would expect from a genuine 5-star hotel.
Grand Pasa Hotel Review
The staff at Grand Pasa Hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly. We arrived four hours before the official check-in time, but they kindly allowed us to check in early and even offered us breakfast, which was a lovely gesture.
All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was a fantastic variety of food to choose from, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The snack bar was great, and there were lots of activities for children to enjoy. Every evening, there was entertainment for children and families, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We had a wonderful experience at Grand Pasa Hotel and would definitely recommend it to other families. We would happily stay here again!
Nice hotel, a bit dated and hot in the inside communal areas. Rooms were good although cleaning could be better. Food is excellent in the restaurant, great choice and good quality. Staff in restaurant work hard. Pool area is good but sunbeds can run out. Hotel states no towel reservations on sunbeds before 7am but people down putting towels well before then and sunbeds empty for hours which isn’t fair on people.
Noise can be bad, but that’s just guests having no consideration coming in in the early hours.
Entertainment team work hard but the evening entertainment is pretty bad. Was there for 2 weeks and was the same entertainment the second week. They love bingo in this hotel for evening entertainment, it’s boring and don’t come on holiday to play bingo. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment on that. Hairdresser on site well over priced, if you want to use card they complain why don’t you have cash, use the hairdressers down the road in town.
