The Imperial Resort is a friendly, family hotel situated between Old Nessebar and Sunny Beach. We stayed in the Deluxe double room which was lovely and clean and spacious. Hotel and rooms were cleaned constantly by friendly members of staff. Meals were lovely with plenty of variety for everyone. Snack bar was well stocked. All staff were very helpful and hard working. Would definitely visit this hotel again.
I’ve just returned from a fantastic 7 day holiday at Hi Hotel Imperial Resort with family and friends, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of our experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were polite, friendly and incredibly helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the bar staff were always happy to help with a smile. The cleanliness of the hotel was second to none. The grounds and communal areas were constantly being cleaned and maintained, which really made a difference.
There was also an excellent choice of food throughout the day and night, with plenty available in the main restaurants and snack bar. The variety was great, so there was always something for everyone to enjoy.
The only slight downside for us was that the swimming pools were a little on the cold side for the children. Personally, this didn’t bother me, but the kids definitely noticed it at times.
The location is also brilliant. The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the back of the hotel, and Nessebar is only a short and regular train journey away, which the children absolutely loved.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend Hi Hotel Imperial Resort to families looking for a clean, friendly and enjoyable place to stay. We would certainly return again in the future!
We recently stayed at Imperial Resort Bulgaria with our family, and we had an absolutely fantastic holiday from start to finish.
The hotel itself was excellent – clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and with great facilities for both adults and children. The food offered plenty of variety, the staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy our time away.
What really made our stay special, however, was the entertainment team. A huge thank you to Alex, Alex, and Kyril, who were simply outstanding throughout our holiday. They worked tirelessly every day to keep the children entertained and engaged, and their energy, enthusiasm, and genuine friendliness never went unnoticed. Our youngest daughter would see Alex, run to her and always want to dance along, she would always give out daughter the time of day and it made our little one sad when we left the resort. She still sings and and dances to that 'Braaap Braap' song.
Our other kids looked forward to seeing them every day, whether it was taking part in activities, games, or the evening entertainment. They had a wonderful ability to make every child feel included and involved, and they also took the time to get to know us as a family, which made our experience feel much more personal.
Alex, Alex, and Kyril are a real credit to the hotel. Their positive attitude, professionalism, and natural rapport with children helped create countless happy memories for our family and were a major reason why our holiday was so enjoyable.
Thank you to everyone at Imperial Resort for a wonderful stay. We would happily recommend the hotel to other families and would love to return in the future.
We visited as a family of 6, 2x3 bed rooms. These were in the back building, which doesn't have a lift so had to carry our cases up the stairs. Mostly friendly staff, some don't really smile, but it's that busy I'm not surprised. Lots of variety of food each day, the restaurant is quite big so if you do have to wait for a table, it's not for very long. We didn't wait at all during our visit. There's a 24 bar in reception, and from 12am-6am there is a room near reception with sandwiches, salad, baby food, fruit and yogurt. There was plenty of kids entertainment, we didn't really see anything advertising entertainment for adults, we only seen a singer a few times and bingo once. The front pool near the restaurant is quite busy, the kids pool is there too. The back pool, by our rooms, isn't quite as busy but the beds are always reserved with towels. There's a bar and snack bar inbetween the 2 main pools, these are open most of the afternoon, the bar remains open into the night. We enjoyed our stay and regretted only booking for 1 week. 2 minute walk around the corner to the beach. A mini train stops right outside which goes to main centre of sunny beach
Our room was not located in the main building but in a separate side building that looked nothing like the main hotel. The lobby and stairwell in this building did not reflect the standard we would expect from a four-star hotel (I have included photos). On a couple of occasions, we found dirty plates in the restaurant, and two of our towels were torn and had holes in them. Also we had a small incident, my son spilled some juice on the bed, by accident, and the cleaning lady was bothered that we asked for help with dry sheets. She made it clear she was not happy about it. These are not the standards we expected from a four-star hotel.
Our room was directly in front of the entertainment stage, where loud music continued until 11:00 p.m. every night. As a result, our seven-year-old son had difficulty falling asleep throughout our stay. The music was so loud that even closing the balcony door and windows did not reduce the noise sufficiently.
On a positive note, the location is excellent, with the beach just a short walk from the hotel. The entertainment team at the pools was fantastic, and the food was varied and plentiful. However, the soft drinks were dispensed from machines and served in small plastic cups.
