I really enjoyed our two-night stay here. The location was perfect, and the beach and view were absolutely beautiful. The food quality was excellent; you could really taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish. The staff and service were also wonderful. They did a great job, and honestly, the hotel manager is lucky to have such a great team. I would love to come back in July as well, especially if they offer me a good price! 😅
The only thing you may want to consider is that the average age of the guests seems to be above 60. If you have children and they are hoping to make friends during your stay, it might be a little difficult.
Our second time at Hotel Aqua. We were here 2 years ago and loved it. Everything was perfect and the food was superb. I'm sorry to say that things appear to have changed. The food in the restaurant was very repetitive and the quality of the food was very poor compared to our last visit. The waiting staff in the restaurant were fantastic and just as attentive as they were before but there seems to be quite a few younger members of staff in other areas that have the lazy entitled work ethic I often see now. Sitting doing nothing looking at their phones. Although there were some who were working hard taking up the slack which is unfair. The outdoor bar staff are great and always smiling and go out their way to keep everyone supplied with snacks and drinks. The spa is overpriced compared to spas and Turkish baths in the town and the reception staff try to give you the hard sell making out they are doing you a favour on the price. However the Turkish bath and massage my wife and I had at the spa was fantastic and I would still recommend it because of that. I did leave a reasonable tip, but I wish I had given it directly to the girls that did the massage instead of leaving it in the tip box. The beach area is ok, but the sand is gritty and the swimming area in the sea has been reduced significantly since our last visit which was already quite small. I would also recommend that if you have an issue that you need resolved, then ask to speak to a manager first, otherwise you will find yourself explaining your issue several times to different members of reception staff before finally have to explain it to a manager anyway.
Food is good. Could do with a little more variety but overall 8.5/10.
The staff are extremely helpful. They really make this place a fantastic hotel to come to. Nothing is too much trouble and they are attentive to your needs.
The entertainment on an evening for adults is excellent and the child entertainers are also super friendly and there's plenty of fun each day/night.
The pool is now a comfortable temp and the only slight issue is that the aircon kicks out hot air currently. Thankfully we've not really needed it on due to low 20 degree weather.
We'd certainly come back to this hotel.
A hotel of the highest standard – everything is absolutely perfect, and there is truly nothing to complain about. It’s a place where you can spend an amazing time and completely clear your mind of everyday problems. The atmosphere allows you to fully relax and enjoy every moment.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is definitely its excellent location and the outstanding staff, who go above and beyond to make sure you have the most beautiful holiday. Special thanks and greetings to Ertan, Yakup, and above all Samet. His smile, incredible vibe, dance moves, and openness while serving at the bar will stay in our hearts and memories forever.
It’s people like him who make you want not only to return to the bar, but to come back to the hotel again.
Best regards,
XX ♥️
