We couldn’t really fault this hotel. The rooms are slightly dated but nothing that can’t be fixed up. Hotel was very clean and tidy, staff were all welcoming and lovely. Food was lovely different selection everyday. Entertainment was very good aswell and kids club and mini disco our kids loved it. Pool lovely size and slide to keep kids occupied. Personally I’d rate this more a 4 than a 3 but we’ve had a lovely time here and can’t feel like we can fault it would definitely recommend!
Currently at blue bay hotel for 7 days as a family of 4. For a 3 star hotel Blue bay definitely deserves more credit. The rooms are extremely clean and cleaners do a great job. Regarding food there is always so many options especially for fussy kids and the food is actually really nice. I don’t know why blue bay receives so much negativity about food if you don’t like the dish don’t get it! Simple. The pool area is also very clean my 7 and 8 year old have absaloutly loved being in and out of the pool for the past 4 days; Drinks and plates from the snack bar at collected constantly all day so there is no rubbish or waste left around the pool and is cleaned constantly. The staff are friendly and very respectful. The mini club and mini disco is also amazing my little boy has loved it and the up up down down song is a hit. Would definitely recommend and you get so much for your money. Thank you blue bay currently enjoying every minute and don’t want to leave.
Overall score 4+, we have had a fantastic family holiday, travelling with infant, toddler, teenager and adults, we have had an excellent time. The decor is a bit dated and there are areas which need repair bit it doesn't detract from relaxed friendly experience. The entertainment is very kiddy orientated with very little for adults, pool games during the day are a better balance than the evening though. We enjoyed the selection of food most evenings and the restaurant is welcoming, clean and geared for all guests. There is a decent selection at the bar and pool bar food is available nearly all day.
Great hotel, great for kids and the staff were very friendly especially Sarah. Good selection of food available at main meals and the snack bar. Hotel is in a great location with quite a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It was almost impossible to get a lounger by the pool, the hotel have a no reserving with towels policy but people ignore this. Fortunately the beach and waterpark are also within walking distance so we spent a few days there when we couldn't get to the pool. The beds are a bit uncomfortable and the hotel doesn't have a courtesy room for people with a late flight. None of this impacted our holiday though and we would definitely stay here again.
Perfect little get away, rooms are spacious, orange covers but can remove them, pool Is lovely, a little chipped but normal. Staff are lovely and friendly, rooms a little walk and no lifts. A great area, not too much around bur also not too little, the beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Staff tell you shortcuts too! A bigger town is a 5 minute walk from the hotel too but we got a taxi for 3€ so really cheap. Food is good, we managed to find something every meal however is the same mostly each day, they have enough to choose from and have the classic chips, pizza, nuggets and lots of other variety too. Overall I would return. Really good!
