My overall impression: a very enjoyable stay, with comfortable accommodation, good food, friendly service and an excellent location for discovering the beauty and history of Nessebar.
It's a nice and cozy place, with a decent and clean pool on the side, and with great bartenders.
The food is good but not so varied; even so there are a lots of dishes every day, and I ate some meatloafs which were fabolulous.
And that lamb with mushrooms? O-la-la! 🤤
The services are great but in order your towels and sheets to be changed, you have to hang the "Please make up the room!" tag on the door knob.
Unfortunately, my room was on the main street side so the traffic could be heard during the night.
The room was big, with a sofa on the lounge zone, a big bed and an extensible armchair. It also have a balcony.
The bathroom was big enough, with a shower cabin.
From the hotel to the beach are aprox. 450m so it's not that far.
Overall it's an awesome quiet place with good personnel.
You have to be fair and judge a hotel or holiday by how much you paid.
At £417 for flights, hotel all inclusive meals and drinks for 2 weeks I feel this represents excellent value.
Food compares very well against other Bulgarian hotels.
Rooms spacious with extras such as free safe and fridge.
It is not a big hotel but it is tidy and clean. My room is big enough (maybe 40 sg. m), king size bed, TV, refrigerator (small, but freezes well), bathroom clean (no amenities). A breakfast is serviced at the ground floor restaurant. A lot of shops in vicinity. The location in 10 minutes walk to the beach
The forum hotel offers a decent place to stay in sunny beach. The staff are really friendly, especially Ganka, who was in reception at night and Sabia our cleaning lady who was beyond cheerful!! The food is pretty mediocre, but it's edible and hot. The combinations are sometimes a little unusual, but that's okay. The pool is fine with plenty of space for the number of guests. The hotel is in a busy street and so noise can be a bit of an issue, however the rooms come equipped with controlled air conditioning and so the doors can be closeded at night to block out most of the noise. Compared to some of the other places we've seen in sunny beach, hotel forum appears to be pretty luxury and it is situated outside of the main town which is a bonus as sunny beach itself is tacky and quite seedy. The beaches are lovely and access to them is easy from the hotel with a lovely walk though some great wildlife spots. We've seen cuckoo's, water snakes, terrapins and fish. The local old town of Nessebar is lovely and very picturesque. Lots of shops and places to eat. There is a good selection on sale with some tourist tat and a disconcerting amount of Nazi antiques and memorabilia available, which was disappointing. However over all it was a lovely place. We recommend the local road train which runs regularly at 3Lv for adults and 1Lv for children.
