First things first: it’s a pet friendly hotel! And they mean it. The staff gave our dog an extra sleeping pillow! The room is very big. Very clean. Good Airconditioning. The design is a bit 80s. Breakfast is wonderful! Big buffet (with lots of vegetarian options). Even a station where they freshly produce your omelette. Coffee machine could use some adaption, the coffee tasted not as good as it could. The staff is externally nice and helpful and caring! We recommend this hotel very much!
This is not your standard hotel...the lobby looks like an airport/shopping centre - a bit different. The room was very comfortable - massive, tons of storage spaces, the bed alsoahuge and so comfy! My small criticism is about the extremely strong, artificial and quite unpleasant smell at the entrance (air freshener) - it made my eyes water. The hotel restaurant was not for us - strange choice to purely focus on sushi and not have anything else... Also the hotel bar is underwhelming. There is a bowling alley, but we did not have time to try it. The wellness is quite compact and dark but feels intimate. The hammam room could do with maintenance - there were piles of loose tiles and it smelt musty. The other saunas were nice. The hotel is about 15 min away from the city centre, you can take the scenic route along the river. The girls in the restaurant, wellness and the reception were very polite. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay in Magnus, it's a nice place with good wellness, great breakfast and super comfy rooms.
I have a lot of experience with this hotel, I sleep here often. This hotel is my No. 1, the rooms are cozy and large. The hotel has an excellent and luxurious breakfast included in the price. The hotel restaurant - Japanese is delicious and the service is pleasant. The hotel bar and bowling alley surprised my expectations. The hotel location is excellent. many places to eat and 12 minutes walk to the old town. Reception 24/7. We are great!
Fab hotel. The room was huge and so quiet. The bed was super comfy and we both slept great! The breakfast is lovely and the restaurant serves great food at dinner time too, and well priced. The wellness and bowling are included in the price and very good too. The hotel isn't in the centre butits only 15min walk away, and the centre is lovely. It was all great!
Second time I'm staying at the hotel. First time was during the autumn when it was chilly outside. This time it's warm and humid and it seems that the AC/cooling in the room does not cope with it so the room is hot. The hotel feels more like a shopping mall, I miss the character. Rooms are huge, clean and modern but once again, missing the charm somehow. Otherwise the staff is nice and friendly, breakfast OK and the free parking in the hotel garage is a nice plus.
