A quieter hotel with a breakfast buffet only. The selection is good, and there are always plenty of drinks. All other meals are served at the Rathaushotel. Even if you arrive quite late, you can still get enough of everything there. The food is generally delicious. The only drawback is that some guests bring their dogs to meals and let them onto the benches. Personally, I don't think that's a good idea for hygiene reasons. Of course, if the dogs lie quietly under the table, that's perfectly fine with me (that's what we do with ours, too). Overall, we highly recommend this hotel group.
We stayed in the top-floor apartment for three days and were only moderately satisfied.
We were very happy with the all-inclusive package and the service, however, the room's hygiene was lacking. The sofa bed in the adjoining room had a large brown stain on the mattress, making it unsuitable as a sleeping option. The water drained poorly from the bathroom sink because a lot of hair had accumulated and was obstructing the flow. Furthermore, the stand for the floor lamp in the adjoining room was broken, so it only stayed upright when leaned against the wall. The curtains were also very dusty and could definitely use a wash. This definitely needs to be addressed.
Overall, it was only a moderately good stay, and we would probably prefer to stay at one of the other hotels in the chain.
Smallest hotel in the Rathaushotel chain.
Two-room apartments, relatively basic, but perfectly adequate. Equipped with a double bed, a sofa bed (or bunk beds), two small bathrooms with shower and toilet, and two TVs. Large communal breakfast room with TV and a good breakfast selection.
Disadvantage: For lunch and/or a substantial dinner, you have to walk to the Rathaushotel, about 200 meters away, which can be quite strenuous in winter with heavy snow.
