I spent a week with my five-year-old child in the middle of August. The room was basic, but had all that we needed that week. The cleanliness is also basic, but nothing catastrophic. The only real complaint in that regard would be the bed sheets which flew about and didn't really fit the matress. That would have been a real relief to have a fitting bed sheet stay in place.
Otherwise, regarding all the unfriendliness reviews: I found the staff absolutely friendly and adequate. Parts of it in my opinion stem from language, parts from culture barrier, but had I needed assistance, I'm quite certain I would have received it.
Concerning the food: I was a bit frightend because I had read from other parents that they'd resorted to dining out mostly because the food was described as inedible. I'm glad to be able to say: that is absolutely not the case. Yes, hot dishes are at best lukewarm, but I found the variety, presentation and taste absolutely okay. It's not fine dining, but for such a price that expectation wouldn't be realistic, I think. I got my kid and myself full at all meal times, that is to say.
The distance to the beach is certainly the biggest asset, it's a perfect walking distance and sort of ritual throughout the stay of fifteen minutes (with a little kid in tow).
All in all, I found it a nice stay with nice enough staff, a nice enough room, good enough food and all at a reasonable enough price near a stunning ocean.
Such a low rating is absolutely unjustified... I was worried when I booked this hotel with 6/10 rating on Booking. It's a 3-star hotel that perfectly matches the hotel category and such an affordable price (end of June). I got a spacious room with a floor-to-ceilong window and nice view for a price of an average meal in the town.
The Hotel is designed as a cruise ship from outside. Very well maintaned. Beautiful , perfectly kept garden, nice and clean swimming pool, bar, restaurant... umbrellas & sundebs looks new...every single corner of the outdoor area was perfectly taken care of. The staff is always smiling and super friendly and kind.
Beds in the room are not the most comfortable, but totally acceptable for the hotel price and category. The only thing I didn't like is very cheap, low quality , thin bed sheets (but maybe it's only me as the bed sheets are the most important element in a hotel room for me).
Based on the reviews before my stay I expected horror and I ended up having a very nice stay that exceeded my expectations, as someone who stayed in over 5000 hotels in 102 countries so far.
Better 3 stars , stuff lovely very helpfull and rooms cleand Daily very top. Only dissapointed point is dinner for my 5 years old kids 7of 9 dinners they got to eat fryes with ketchup and cakes for adults not too much to choose but very taste everything . I can only recommend to an simple people like me with average holliday badget and we did definately enjoyed this Hotel.
What is wrong with the restaurant staff??
Some of the waiters and bartenders were extremely rude and disrespectful to guests. I personally heard them speaking to other guests in a very arrogant manner, and I also experienced the same attitude myself. This really ruined the overall impression of the hotel.
The hotel itself feels outdated and has a very post-soviet vibe. Our room was also poorly cleaned before our arrival — there were several long, thick black hairs on the bathroom sink. The room sometimes smelled old and musty, as well as of sewage.
On the positive side, the location and nature around the hotel are beautiful, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away. But because of the staff’s attitude and the overall condition of the hotel, I would not come back or recommend it to others!
The hotel was very nice. The service was good. The people were very smiley. You get what you pay for. The pool and the bar were very enjoyable. We didn’t spend much time in the rooms but the bed was comfy and it was clean.
