Overall a great place, but the prices are ridiculous and the food could have some more explanation on the cards. Sadly the area around the hotel is pretty much nothing.
We had a room for three persons (no kids, 3 adults). The room was very big and clean. We had a big bathroom with a separated toilet. We "only" had breakfast which was delicious. There was food for every taste and if something was gone the waiters refilled it instantly. The hotel is specialist on families with kids but of course you can stay there without kids and will enjoy it.
Staff are very friendly and super helpful. Buffet was nice and offered a variety for the kids. Indoor and outdoor playgrounds with many options for the kids.
We cut ouri stay short at this hotel 2 nights instead of 3 due to several reasons. First what we liked: lots of children amenities and animals that could be fed. What we disliked: rooms are outed and very important, without air conditioning, so if you don't like sleeping into a sauna avoid at all costs during summer time; food is at most average, lots of food and rather diverse but generally really cheap stuff, and hardly anything from the cooked food felt fresh; personnel both in restaurant and reception area not extremely friendly. All in all a very expensive stay, almost EUR 600 for a family of 4 with one day entrance to the Sonnentherme, which by the day would have been only a few euros more expensive had we not stayed in the hotel.
staff very friendly. bath tub was broken. but repaired quickly upon request. very nice playground. have stayed last time here in hotel kurz and would rather recommend kurz than semi. also because there is a lot to pay for extra in semi. kurz has spa entrance included in price.
