The hotel, seen as a building with pools, is not bad, the view from the room to the sea was great, but far from 5 stars and far from Ultra all inclusive. For example, ice cream was supposed to be available until 4 pm, but at 3 pm they tell you it's not available and you see that there are boxes inside, but the planned amount for that day has probably ended and there is no new one. Otherwise, the ice cream selection was one like frozen fruit juice and the other 2 were half milk half with frozen. For pancakes, you have to wait in line for 20 minutes in the morning, so that when ten people arrive in front of you, the employee suddenly leaves and tells you that they don't make them anymore. The same goes for waffles, which were rarely available until the scheduled time, the woman who made them took breaks during the period when she was supposed to make waffles, and there was a queue for waffles because she overheated them by keeping them in the toaster for too long. And if the end time is approaching, nothing is replenished. The reception staff was great, but unlike them, hardly anyone else understands English. If you ask for a cocktail, you get juice with some extra stupidly sweet colored syrups and a tiny amount of alcohol in a plastic cup where you can see the remains of mint from someone who drank before, and otherwise the glass was supposedly washed. They put the mint and lemon with their hands, which they then and before that wipe the sweat off their faces. In the restaurant, the staff responsible for the food is unplesent all the time as if they are angry that you stood in a line of 15 people before you waiting to get something. The food was almost the same every day, although they had quite a few varieties, but the nicer things, when they run out, there is no replenishment if you come half an hour before the end of the meal period. The evening snack restaurant only offered soup and bread that was left over from lunch. There was a very poor selection of fruit, only 2 to 3 types of whole fruits such as peach, apple and plum, rarely a piece of not very bland watermelon (and it was July). The staff in the lobby bar were really kind. The beach bar is not on the beach but within the hotel, so you bring your drink from there or from the pool bar to the beach. No one cleaned on the beach, the tables were always dirty. There was no platform to enter the sea, so you had to wade through 5 to 10 meters of filthy dirty water, vs a few meters below another hotel there was a platform where the water was like being on a completely different beach, pure, calm and without waves. The staff in the spa center is something I will never forget. There was a skinny guy and a bigger older man. The skinny guy was extremely rude, making you feel like you were in a hotel with barely 2 stars, as many of the guests felt. The towels they gave you were as if they had been washed for barely 15 minutes at 30 degrees, smelled unpleasantly like massage oils and were torn with threads and whole pieces hanging from everywhere, and once they gave us one literally torn with huge holes. There are no special showers for bathing on the last day before you leave, so we had to bathe outside on the beach with completely cold water. The sunbeds by the pools were taken very early and there weren't enough for everyone, and although jumping into the pool is prohibited, no one warned the men who jumped. So not children but adult men. The pool closed at 7 pm and they started chasing before that, and if you don't return the towels by 6:30 pm, you won't have new towels tomorrow in the hope that they will be even a little cleaner than the previous ones. They don't give you shampoo unles you ask, and they don't change the towels in the room every day unless you complain, and once they gave us literally factory-brought, unwashed towels, I was all white made of towel hair. The door to the bathroom was completely damaged by the water from the shower. All in all, I will never return again nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone.

well, where to begin. stayed here for 10 nights from 20th july 2026. only book here if russian. absolute dive of a hotel (except the pool, excellent pool area) food only seems to cater for russian guests, there is a cue system for food, unless your russian, then just walk to the front and take everything ! big fight broke out in one of the bars involving tbe russians. if a hospital is needed make sure you tell the hotel nurse you need state public hospital, otherwise she will send you in private ambulance to private hospital. you will have to pay yourself before leaving (roughly 1500 euros for 3 hrs) while they sort your travel insurance out. one of our kids got cut while using indoor pool, another got cut while in the splash park by the beach bar, good luck find a lifeguard near any pool. brussel sprouts served breakfast, lunch and dinner ! looks like the rooms were last decorated in the 70's, cockroaches in one of our rooms. ultra all inclusive means 2 small bottles of water put in your room each day. entertainment... well, in the morning they clap to one song poolside then disappear, in the afternoon a game of darts in one of the bars then they disappear, everyother night an hour show in the atrium. defo avoid this hotel !

This hotel is extremely disappointing and doesn't even deserve one star. The food is exactly the same every single day, with no variety at all. They simply recycle leftovers instead of serving fresh and different dishes. The plates are always dirty, which is completely unacceptable. The bathrooms are extremely old and outdated, and the overall service is very poor. The staff are also unfriendly and unhelpful. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. The only nice thing about this place is the swimming pools, but that alone does not justify the high price we paid.

I stayed at MC Arancia Resort & Spa with my family (12 of us). Before travelling, I read many negative reviews and hoped they were exaggerated. Unfortunately, after staying here myself, I have to agree with many of them. The positives are the beautiful beach, sea views, large pool, palm trees, water slides, balconies and the hotel looking lovely at night. The biggest positive of our stay was Seval. She was always kind, respectful, welcoming and professional, always served us with a smile and made us feel valued. She is a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The food was repetitive, poor quality and lacked flavour, so our family eventually stopped eating at the hotel and chose restaurants outside instead. The queues for food were often 20–30 minutes long, and waiting for drinks also took a long time. The rooms are outdated and need refurbishment. The bathrooms are old, the TVs are outdated, the minibar was barely stocked, the fridge hardly worked, and housekeeping was inconsistent. Cleanliness was disappointing. Dirty plates and cups were left around the restaurant and pool area, carpets looked dirty, and there was often an unpleasant sewage smell throughout the hotel. For an all-inclusive hotel, far too many things cost extra, including Wi-Fi, ice cream, slushies, children’s games, shisha and the hammam. Many staff spoke very little English. We also felt uncomfortable when the manager asked for a tip immediately after checking us in. Another staff member shouted at us and gestured for us to leave when we went downstairs late at night looking for something to eat. The nightclub DJ was also rude and refused to play our song request. Several members of our family slipped on the very slippery floors during our stay. Apart from swimming, relaxing and eating, there was very little to do, and after a few days the holiday became boring. The hotel also seemed to cater mainly to Russian-speaking guests, so it didn’t feel like an international resort. The location is quite isolated, so transport is usually needed if you want to visit restaurants, shopping centres or attractions. Sadly, our family of 12 all left disappointed. This is not a hotel we would return to, and unfortunately I have to agree with many of the reviews I read before arriving. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a genuine 5-star all-inclusive experience.

MC Arancia is an all-inclusive hotel/resort on the Mediterranean coast just outside Alanya. In my opinion, it's at best a 3-star budget resort and that means corners get cut, and cut they are, from a lack of air conditioning in the public areas to bland, watery pasta sauce (is overcooked pasta a European thing?). That said, my stay was overall pleasant. I ended up here because my in-laws booked it through a travel agency, so I honestly didn't know what to expect. The resort itself is a large complex with plenty of warmish pools and direct access to a very rocky Mediterranean beach. The reception balcony has great views over the pool deck, and there are nice lounge areas and bars scattered around. It's a solid choice for families — there's no shortage of amenities for kids, including waterslides and other activities to keep the little ones busy. That said, the overall structure feels dated and in serious need of a refresh. My room was clean but looked old and worn. My wife and I had a single full-size bed with a balcony. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and had fast hot water with great pressure. We had a fridge, but don't expect it to actually do its job — mine chilled water down to a measly 60°F and not a degree colder. I have to assume that's intentional cost-cutting. Also, don't expect free Wi-Fi; that's an extra charge. On the plus side, the room's air conditioning worked well and was nice and quiet — genuinely thankful for that. Unfortunately, a peaceful night's sleep isn't guaranteed. The hotel next door hosted an obnoxiously loud pool DJ party that ran well past midnight, and my room happened to face it directly, a disaster for sleep. Thankfully, it wasn't every night. Now, the food. There's a genuinely large variety at the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner though about half of it is unlabeled, so you're often just guessing. A lot of it looked to be Turkish cuisine. My favorite mishap: something labeled "chicken" that turned out to be tuna. Being something of a germaphobe, I wasn't thrilled about the flies buzzing around or the hundreds of hands touching the same tongs. The buffets also get very crowded. They're crowded enough that I considered just eating outside the hotel entirely. The selection is impressive, but it's all fairly cheap food. Don't expect steak, shrimp, or well-grilled meats like doner here. The menu changes daily, but execution is hit-or-miss at best, and the pasta in particular never had a good sauce to speak of. The pizza guy always looked overwhelmed, sending out pizzas that were basically half-cooked just to keep up with demand. Breakfast is the best meal here; but only if you go around 7 a.m., when it's fully stocked and nearly empty. Lunch and dinner, on the other hand, are an absolute crowd crush, and in classic European fashion, the dining areas are warm with barely any AC running, so you get to sweat while you eat. And yes, they do have the equipment, they just don't always bother turning it on. Overall, MC Arancia has a good number of things going for it, but there's a fair stack of drawbacks too. The staff, however, from reception to room service, were consistently helpful, and that counts for a lot. Their hard work genuinely makes the place worthwhile. If you're looking for more than a budget resort experience though, you'll need to look elsewhere, and be ready to pay more for it.
