We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The sea view was absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. The hotel itself was lovely, comfortable, and well maintained.
What truly made our experience special was the excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, professional, and always willing to help. Their genuine hospitality made us feel very welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
Everything was perfect, from the stunning view to the outstanding service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience by the sea! 🌊✨
I highly recommend New Aegli Resort ... today is my last day of vacation and I'm sorry I didn't book for more days ... everything is perfect .... cleanliness in the rooms .. food, drinks very ok at decent prices, very friendly and sociable staff ... helps you in any situation. Julia, the girl who deals with reservations, I want to thank her for the advice given to make vacation as beautiful as possible. The location is on the seashore .. you can have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the very beautiful sea every morning, enjoying a landscape like in a fairy tale. The entrance to the sea water is smooth, suitable for families with small children, the water is clean, perfect for swimming. There are taverns and beaches around the hotel where you can take walks. I mostly stayed at the hotel beach where you don't miss anything at all. You can book and you certainly won't regret it .. you have everything you need here for a successful vacation !!!!
Our stay here was nothing like what was advertised, and it was honestly one disappointment after another.
From the moment we arrived, it became clear that the hotel has been neglected for years. The rooms are extremely dated, many of the amenities are broken, and basic maintenance seems to be missing altogether. The shower had almost no water pressure, there was visible mold in the bathroom, and cleanliness was far below what anyone should expect.
The "all-inclusive" package is particularly misleading. Instead of offering a wide selection of food and drinks, guests are given a very small menu that barely changes throughout the day. Many beverages and other items still cost extra, making the package feel far from all-inclusive.
What surprised us most was how many additional charges there were. Paying extra for towels, receiving only one room key for two guests, and returning to a hot room because the air conditioning switches off every time you leave are all things you simply don't expect when paying premium prices.
The common areas were in poor condition as well. Torn furniture in the lobby, massage chairs that were out of service, and an overall atmosphere of neglect made the property feel tired and uncared for.
Unfortunately, the staff did little to improve the situation. Requests were met with indifference, and management showed no willingness to address concerns or take guest feedback seriously.
This hotel promises far more than it delivers. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday with good service, quality food, and comfortable accommodations, you will likely be disappointed. There are many better places nearby that offer a much better experience for the money.
This is my 2nd year staying here and I like it very much... Very kind and helpful staff, with great view and beach... I stayed both sides with sea view and forest view. I liked them both especially their beds are very comfortable. Me and my friends were looking for a silent and relaxing place with great sea and food and we found it here 😊 See you guys next year 😍
Overall, my impression of the New Aigli Resort was rather disappointing considering the price. On the positive side, the hotel is very clean, and the staff are extremely polite, friendly and helpful.
Another positive point is that the hotel is dog-friendly, which is particularly appreciated, as Poros in general still seems to be quite behind when it comes to welcoming guests travelling with pets.
However, the room was very small and had no view, while the bathroom was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range: an old-fashioned shower cubicle of approximately 70×70 cm with a shower curtain, which felt very outdated and uncomfortable.
Another very disappointing detail is the artificial grass carpeting on the beach-facing “balconies”. For a hotel located in such a beautiful natural seaside setting, this choice looks cheap and completely out of character with the surroundings.
Most importantly, the room was far too expensive for what was offered: very small, no view, and breakfast was not even included. The cleanliness and the kindness of the staff are certainly appreciated, but unfortunately they are not enough to justify the cost of the stay. The value for money definitely needs improvement.
