I have one tip for couples staying at this hotel: make sure that you get a double bed, because the room may have 2 separate beds next to each other. The floor is slippery and the beds kept on sliding away from each other and sliding all around with every move. Although, they were comfortable I must admit. I recommend the swimming pool and coffee from the bar, across from the restaurant (the one in the all inclusive restaurant was not very good). One more thing, the walls are very thin, so take that in consideration if you're a light sleeper.
I wish I didn’t book here. Got all inclusive, apparently only certain food items are included in that, and alcohol is only included at the most inconvenient times. The resort feels so greedy for money from me, its like…I should have just gone to Mexico or somewhere else instead. The room they booked us is right beside their performance venue. Nonstop music late into the night. Couldn’t even get a good rest. What a waste of money. I’m actually contemplating getting us a different resort stay MID vacation! Can you believe that? Not even joking. Don’t get all inclusive package, ITS NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED TO ME ON EXPEDIA.
The greatest asset of this hotel is its people. The management and entire staff were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. We have been for a couple of days and we had a fantastic stay. Nuria the assistant manager was so careful with small details and helped our stay to be fantastic. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and also to get the all inclusive which have a lot of benefits
We have just returned from a few days at the Occidental in Plays de Palma. This was after going there a few months ago. We enjoyed it again very much and the staff were very kind to us and wre always wishing to ensure we were having a great time Joaquin and his colleagues in the restaurant we very attentive and Laura on reception are well worth a mention for exception service.
