This hotel is fabulous and I would definitely return and recommend it. It's a five star for being Greece, but not to compare to a five star in the US. They have a total different kind of five star in the US. But for being Greece, it's worth the five European stars! Service was excellent from the beginning, they are totally service minded. Clean rooms, water bottle in the fridge everyday, complimentary bottle of wine-very nice! Bath robe and slippers. Good beds, but the pillows are a bit too hard for me. The hotel is taken care of, they clean everywhere, they take care of all the beautiful flowers that are growing everywhere in the hotel area. It's absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The hotel breakfast is very good, with a lot to choose from the buffet. The lunch /dinners, if you try them at the hotel you won't be disappointed. It's very good food! Note the taxes they add to the booking that you pay for the room at the day of checking out. It was pretty high taxes, for us, around 120 USD for a week.
Beautiful hotel. Small two storey clusters of apartments, and some villas, all different designs and most set around a pool, in extensive and mature landscaped gardens. Our room was beautifully-appointed, stylish and spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the beach and sea. Hotel sun beds were high quality and well-spaced out compared to many other hotels, but do expect the the early-birds in their terry towelling bathrobes claiming the frontline beds before the sun has risen. No need to rush if sunrise is too early. There are plenty of other sun beds to go round. We walked into Parga each night which, although it is just a 20 minute walk, does involve a seriously steep road/path up and over the headland. Not dangerous, except on your calves. There is always the very civilised water taxi if you prefer. Will definitely be staying again.
We stayed as a family and paid around €800 per night with half board. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing in every restaurant we tried, including the à la carte options. The ingredients tasted poor, and even the restaurant associated with a two-Michelin-star chef served us stale bread and a meal we did not enjoy. We ended up buying yoghurts from a nearby mini market. The cocktails were below average too.
The advertised children’s activities, including cooking and pottery, did not take place during our stay. The children mostly drew pictures under supervision, despite the sessions having different names. All the pools closed at 6 p.m., which also felt early for a summer family holiday.
After we complained, the hotel refunded the cost of our half board. We appreciated the gesture, but we had hoped for the experience we paid for. At this price, we expected much better food and more for the children.
I stayed at Parga Beach Resort for five nights, and I left with the best impression possible. Every euro I spent was absolutely worth it.
I genuinely believe this is the best hotel staff I have ever experienced. Whether it was in the restaurant, the bar, the rooms, on the beach, or simply walking through the resort, every single employee greeted us with warmth, kindness, and a genuine smile. I was especially impressed that even the housekeeping staff and the beach attendants welcomed us so sincerely and made us feel valued.
Every request or need we had was handled quickly, professionally, and always with kindness and a smile. Throughout our stay, we truly felt cared for and appreciated.
The food was excellent, especially lunch. The drinks and snacks were also fantastic. The beach is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is simply amazing.
Thank you for making our holiday so special. We will definitely be back!
Just left this hotel after a 6 night stay as a family with 3 young children.
It's a fab location on a beautiful beach, and we loved the styling of the hotel. It was fairly easy to find sunbeds even after breakfast and despite the hotel being busy.
However there was quite a few negatives, we found the breakfast really poor quality with lack of choices, there is no fresh egg station and you have to queue to make coffees (also poor quality) out of a machine. The cocktails we ordered at the hotel were also low quality and absolutely not worth the price. The lunch food wasn't bad but we did have to send food back as the children's chicken wasn't cooked.
The house keeping was very sketchy with items missing from the room and toiletries not replaced.
The staff are all lovely as is typical in Greece. Except from the styling of the hotel, this is definitely more aligned to a 3 star.
Parga is wonderful part of Greece, we really loved it.
