Extraordinary resort. Phenomenal concept. Great service. Very good and helpful staff. There is plenty space on the pool, great beach from the both sides of the peninsula. Plenty stuff to do for the kids and adults. Great adventure park in the middle of the resort and Puro Beach is a great experience. Every detail is perfectly chosen, from the furniture to the table lamps. Great space park behind the resort with lots of toys for different age groups. Bars and restaurants are amazing with a great choice of food and drinks. Hope to keep the quality high during the next years. Love to come back eventually since the istrian cost is amazing. 🇲🇰🇭🇷
We stayed with our 4 and 6-year-old children, and it is one of the best family hotels we have ever been to. Its strongest point is the massive, well-thought-out entertainment infrastructure: a large, high-quality outdoor playground with bar tables for parents nearby, while indoors there is an abundance of climbing frames, trampolines, a separate video game room, and a huge play area with an event hall. The pool complex is excellent and adapted for all age groups — from shallow zones for babies to areas for adults. The territory is beautiful, with mature pine trees, so even a large complex does not feel noisy. The service is top-notch right from arrival: the staff greets you at the gates and takes care of your luggage and parking. The housekeeping staff is especially pleasant. I will be honest about the shortcomings as well. Pre-arrival email communication was slow — we had to wait a day or even two for a reply. In our room (V-Level Suite), the air conditioning didn't work for the entire stay and the issue was never resolved, and the minibar was not restocked after the initial fill. At the "Terra" restaurant, the food selection is wide and the quality is genuinely good for a family hotel, but some of the staff understand neither English nor German, and the drink service was very slow at times. The evening program is fun (the clown show was simply superb), but the volume is sometimes too loud for younger kids. Despite these minor issues, the value for money is very good — it is absolutely worth it for this level of infrastructure and service. A great choice for families looking for maximum activity for the kids alongside relaxation for the parents.
We just had the most incredible family holiday at Pical Resort. We stayed at Pical Hotel and from the moment we arrived, we were in heaven. The food is incredible (we have a celiac in the family and she was very well catered for), the pools absolutely stunning and fun for adults and kids, and all the kids activities (Play Land, ropes course, water slides, Maro Club) were superb. We were not bored once during our week! The resort is incredibly family friendly and we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back!
What a fantastic stay we had at Pical Resort. The hotel is amazing. The facilities are great and so is the location. There was so much for us to do as a family. My little boy has loved the Maro club and all there is to do for kids. The play land was amazing. Minela made our stay really special. She has been amazing from the start. We stayed here for 6 days in July. It is impressive. It is a new hotel which I think is still finding it's feet, but doing a great job. They dealt with any comments or feedback very well. The sun beds are the best beds we have ever experienced. Once I understood the resort setup with the different hotels all interlinked, it made more sense and didn't seem so overwhelming. We did stay in the Pical Suites which was worth it if you would like to get away from the hussle and bustle of the main hotel, although there was still a great atmosphere. The 10 minute walk into Porec was great. We hired bikes and did a fab 32k tour.....there were loads of options. Definitely check out the rooftop bar, but book! And the Technogym option in the hotel room was an absolute winner for me.
