The only good service is in the Greek and Italian restaurant. The rest is an incredible dispointment. Far, far away from a 5 star hotel, really close to 2 stars. All the furniture is old like the same when the hotel was opened. The food is awful, no choice becaise it is awful. The breskfast was just a nightmare, like there was some kind of salami which no one was chosing because clearlt it was sliced 10 days ago and stayed out of the fridge. Pancakes were dry as hell. The SPA is also old and not vety well maintained. One of the ladies was cleaning the wi dows above our heads and quetly swearing. We ordered alcohol drinks and the waiter was chasing us with POS aftrr every drink bexause you cannot open a room bill ot at least according to him. Be prepared not to speak in bulgarian if you are bulgarian. That was a joke. Also the english will not be of a great use is some cases.
A complete disappointment from our 5-day stay at Pirin Golf. The "All-Inclusive" option here is a total farce: repurposed food from previous meals, endless minced meat in various forms, and a constant lack of alcohol (running out after the second glass with no restocking in sight).
In the rooms, the air conditioning units leak, which the staff simply dismisses as "condensation." The service attitude is appalling-lazy, sullen, and indifferent. Most of the staff do not speak Bulgarian at all, and their English is below par and virtually incomprehensible. Used glasses in the common areas sat uncollected for two full days.
The hotel allows pets, which creates a very unpleasant environment for other guests-dogs barking while you eat, along with uncontrolled smoking in the garden area during meal times. The only bright spot was the housekeeping staff, who actually did their jobs.
For the prices charged, you receive total neglect. There is zero hospitality or quality to be found here. This was my last stay at a Bulgarian hotel, especially under an "All-Inclusive" package. Going forward, I will be spending my vacations elsewhere and will not be returning to Bulgarian tourism. Strongly not recommended!
Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa is a place where you go and can feel like you are at home, such a cozy, homely vibe. The staff are so polite, careful, friendly and caring. The services are perfect: from a romantic couples-vibes, to child and pet-friendly hospitality. A perfect vacation - all-in. You have clean air, magnificent nature, wonderful view. For sports lovers; in winter time you can early in the morning go skiing, and later in the afternoon - golf, if it is not fully snowy-covered. If it is - there is fitness, swimming pools - 1 inside, 3 outdoors with warm water.
There is also VIP SPA for privacy and complete relax.
I highly recommend to be visited if you are choosing your relaxed and recharging vacation - Pirin Golf is your place.
It's my second time at Pirin golf, i first went 10 years ago and i liked the place which is why we chose to go again.
This time I'm disappointed in the whole experience - the rooms are very outdated and in bad shape, they need a renovation. For example we had an electric kettle and wanted to use it, but it was broken. We asked if we can get it replaced and they told us no.
The food was mediocre at best. We also paid for two golf lessons, the golf course is the only thing around the complex that is well maintained. Our teacher was definitely a good golfer, but he didn't offer much guidance.
Overall, I'm disappointed and i wouldn't recommend the hotel. It's way overpriced for what you're getting.
The hotel is very nice, with a beautiful rustic design. The spa area is excellent, and our apartment was very close to it, which was very convenient. It was quiet and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the spa facilities.
The apartment is very simple, so don’t expect luxury vibes. There were no basic cleaning supplies, for example to wash dishes. The gym costs extra, and there were no milk alternatives at breakfast, so for example, a cappuccino with soy milk costs extra.
